If you take anything from my review I ask you to be smart consumers if you want to buy something from this store compare thier prices to the same item being sold online
If you want to sell somethiing to them look at how much they are selling your item on the floor. if on the floor they are selling your item for 300 dollars on the floor... dont take less than 150 if they offer less like 5 dollars like they did me for an item they will sell for 300, you are being ripped off.
The review of my items were grossly over exaggerated. overview there were 6 bins of toys close to 190 items
Kokomo toys and collectibles stated most of my toys were broken, gotten from goodwill, not quality toys.
out of the 190 items there were 3 goodwill stickers, they made it seem almost all my items were from good will 2 of the 3 items that were goodwill stickers were selling on ebay for 70 dollars each. they made it seem most of my items were broken out of 190 items there were only 5 broken items i had 61 action figures.... this store was selling unboxed action figures up to 300 to 500 dollars each i had bunch in the boxes and are mint condition the action figure almost all were used in perfect condition. bunch in original packageing... even a darth maul action figure in the perfect boxing. very few boxes were in bad condition
if this business continues to lie im ready to post pictures of the items i attempted to sell to them that they offered 150 dollars for...
After thoughts According to thier prices they would sell my items estimated 10 to 15 thousand if not more ... they offered me 1 hundred and fifty dollars only....
I said I will not do business with businesses who are unethical.
They had zero conscience... the way they talked to me and how extreme they tried to scam me ... they had zero conscience
If they think they can get over on you they take advantage of you as...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this store today for the first time. I then reviewed the store on their Facebook page. My only complaint was the prices. As I told them, I get it's their store and they can charge whatever they like. I'm a huge collector and know what to look for i.e. variants, grading, current values ect. The owner proceeded to inform me I don't know anything and need to do my research. I attempted to respond and give an example of their over pricing to find out they blocked me from their page. Whatever, it happens. I even gave them an OK review 3/5 stars with my only issue being price. I only collect vintage star wars toys and that's where my experience lies.
Here's the example I attempted to give them. They have a Han Solo in trench coat MOC ROTJ 77 back and they were asking $65. I would gladly pay the $65 or even a little more for this piece... EXCEPT... it wasn't mint on card. There was a dime size hole on the card behind Han, someone circled the figures I assume they collected on the back of the card with a pen and they traced the star in the star wars logo in pen also. Now, any real collector knows the condition of the card, bubble condition, of there's yellowing and does it have ink marks make the value of any item.. star wars or not. Basically they were asking the price of a C-8 item for this C-4/C-5.
If you want fair prices for good items I suggest closet space toys.. if you're near kokomo or not in Indy they are opening a store in Ingalls, IN on the 28th of July. The staff at closet space is very friendly and knowledgeable and willing to wheel and deal some too.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI told the staff (I believe her name was Amber) in two separate emails that the funko pops I was trying to sell were not in plastic casing. Apparently the person emailing "misunderstood" what 'plastic casing' meant, and as a result could only give $1 for each pop regardless of value. I was reasonably upset at this and as a result they declined the entire transaction as they tried to explain. I would not recommend this store at all.
Response to the owner response:
I actually was attempting to be quite clear about the condition of the items being sold. You did mention to send pictures OR provide lists, etc. Once I provided said list, you just said "we'll see you then". If you had said that was too unclear and requested pictures I then would have sent pictures. I have all emails to prove it as I'm sure you do as well.
My behavior may not have been the most professional, I admit, but you admitted to making a pretty big mistake/miscommunication and you kept trying to justify yourself, which was fine, until you decided to just cancel the entire thing due to "my behavior". I repeatedly said "it's fine, please just take the pops for $1 each" but you kept arguing, as opposed to attempting to defuse a disappointed/angry customer. THAT is the biggest reason I found the entire experience worthy of...
