I have nothing but great things to say about Copy-It. I went to them after visiting 5 different printing shops (Staples and Office Depot being two of those five) and they were able to help me out with my request. I had messed up by having my template for my wedding invitations printed by an online print shop and I - being someone who knows NOTHING about size/weight/anything about paper - had the online printing company print 130 invitations on this really flimsy paper (flimsier than regular printer paper). I didn't know the paper would be so flimsy. It was NOT wedding invitation appropriate at all. I was so disappointed and stressed out when I received my invitations through the mail. My invitations aren't like traditional ones - they have a gate fold and open up like a brochure. When I went to all of these different printing shops, they were telling me I couldn't print my invitations on cardstock paper or a paper that was tougher/heavier than the paper I screwed up on, because my invitations are dark red and the ink would start cracking if they were bent to form the 2 folds (for the gate fold). However, when I went to Copy-It, they told me it was not a problem for them at all! They were so helpful and patient with me, showing me different types/sizes of paper and helping me come up with a cardstock that I wanted my invitations printed on. They were able to print 130 wedding invitations for me, with cardstock paper, with the gate fold, with scoring, and folded the invitations for me. PLUS, the price to have my wedding invitations printed out by them is SO incredibly reasonable. And wow, can we talk about the turnaround time? I placed the order on a Thursday afternoon, sent them a PDF of my final draft for my wedding invitations that same night, and they were ready for pick up THE NEXT DAY (FRIDAY)! I was blown away when I received my order. They were PERFECT and the invitations had no cracking like those other print shops told me would happen if I printed on cardstock. I am so thankful for the employees at Copy-It and I will definitely come back to them when I need to print my "Thank You" cards after the wedding!!! I might even need some bar menus, welcome signs, and other little things for the wedding printed at Copy-It if I decide to DIY...
Read moreI had to get copies for my business because I am leaving out of state. I went in yesterday and I'm guessing it was the owner that helped me. He did what I asked with my copies. I however made a mistake I handed him 13 copies when I should have handed him one. When you are getting ready to move sometimes you don't look over the little details. He copied I'm guessing 20 each of the 13 original copies I had and he made them front and back like I ask. When I got home i noticed the mistake and I also noticed that the front and back were overlapping. Basically the copies were not useable for my clients. I did call yesterday and I explained the situation. The lady told me to come in and they will take care of me. I came in today to see what they can do. I understand not refunding work that has already been done but at least exchanging out the work after I paid $150 for the copies. Please if you go in there make sure what you want is exactly what you need. $130 mistake.
*Update the owner personally called me and sincerely listened to what happened, apologized and gave me a full refund. I really appreciate you taking the time to call me. You have a great establishment and you really value your...
Read moreI haven't had a lot of such work done at different print shops so have little basis to compare except that I will say that the friendly, courtious staff did a good job of explaining what they could do and how their service fees worked, and then delivered a high-quality product in a timely manner as promised. Scanning and printing equipment seemed to be much higher quality than the office-quality equipment I was used to at work or typical single photocopier do-it-yourself businesses, though the latter are fine for general photocopying. And, you can do-it-yourself here, too. Work I needed consisted of scanning old photos, some still stuck in photo albums, then having them crop, enlarge, and print on photograph-quality paper, then cut to size. They...
