La Porte City Hall — Attraction in La Porte

Usually all has been great! Except for tonight when I went to kiosk to pay the water bill. The screen display was prompting "to update?" Then tapping the screen it went blank and started updating process, like a standard Microsoft Program. I stood and waited from 0% thru 100%, screen cycle complete, then went blank. Next "Fujitsu?" appears, then blank again. Suddenly from the receipt port comes at least a 3' long tape with residents information. It stops, display screen then goes to Goggle Chromium screen. Much like in your personal usage. Comes to wanting you to download Chrome. I drove away, took about a 20 minute drive, came back and the same screen "Goggle" display.. with the "Download for Chrome" I took a series of pictures and have saved the long tape. Will be at City Hall on Monday, 3-20-2023. Certainly hope the system has not been hacked.. taking citizens...

Staff very nice and polite to customers as well as visitors upon entering the building...
