LaMont Does Park — Attraction in Lafayette

We had an excellent time and the equipment was well maintained. There is a volleyball court, swings, and the coolest spinning pole I've seen. My kids are already asking when we'll be going back. It's a distance from our house but worth the trek, so we will be visiting again soon. Seems like a great place to have a birthday party, covered Pavillion with plenty of room. Many amenities. A new water park is being added for 2018 opening..

Only problem is inconsiderate dog owners. It is not an off-leash park yet people let their dogs run around and attack people. They also do not pick up the dog poop. Dogs should be banned from this park. Children have been attacked by dogs in this park.

Great location for family or other gatherings. Pavilion provides plenty of tables and space for a potluck, with playground close by to keep an eye on little children. Nearby fields for larger activities, or a smaller area set aside for activities like ladder ball or bean bag toss.

I think it is at a very convenient location and flexible facility. Parking might be tough depending on how busy...
