Appalled at the service we received today at the Christmas ornament preview we have attended for so many years across so many Hallmark store locations I canât even count. We have visited this store for almost a decade because there are no other options locally, unfortunately. In the store today, my son wanted a Lego ornament they didnât have, and a woman inside rolled her eyes at me (!) when I asked to be put in a list to call when it came in so I can come and purchase it once it comes in. She said to me, âYou canât just call?â. Then, I have a friend who saw my social media post today and asked if I could get an item for her that was sold out where she lives. I called the store I had already spent money in to ask if they had that item. Lily confirmed they had one left. I asked if she could hold it for me. No. I asked what time they opened the next day. 11am. I said I would be there 1045. I then called back and said I would pay for it and pick up tomorrow, happy to give My Visa over the phone to be good on the purchase. She put me on hold and came back and said âNo, we canât do that, but we close in 3 minutes so you should be fine, no one is going to come in today and buy it.â Ironic that the spirit of Christmas and all the money we spend on these ornaments year after year doesnât transcend o Jenâs Hallmark.    Read moreI came into the store in Foothill Ranch hoping to buy 5 ornaments. This is something I do yearly. In all the years I have been coming to this location I have never had bad customer service. I asked about a ornament that was coming in December and was shocked the way the cashier Jamie talked with me because it was out of stock. So then I picked one ornament and found another I was interested in but it was not on display. I asked if I could see it and she came over and said it was the last one and they were not going to be displaying it. I pointed to the shelf and showed her the other boxes of that ornament and she proceeded in a very rude demeaning way say that it looks exactly like the box and it does nothing and walked away. I put back the ornament I planned on buying and left. I asked her name before I left and who knows if she even gave me her correct name. She is very rude tall middle aged lady. I have never been treated like this in this or any other Hallmark store. It is very disappointing and after 29 years of purchasing the keepsake ornaments that last year was my last. Had a nice chat with her and her co-worker, the store was decorated nicely for the holidays. It's in a great location and I love stationary stores, as I worked in a family owned one for over ten years.
