Top Notch Beefburgers — Restaurant in Lake Township

Today, I arrived and elected to sit at the counter. The server greeted and asked me and my sister if we were ready. I was grateful because we are REGULARS that already know exactly what we want! We placed our orders and she immediately put it in to the kitchen. Although the restaurant was crowded our order came sooner than expected. I went to wash my hands and observed my server preparing a bowl of soup. When I was going back to the counter she was eating the soup! The food was excellent as expected HOWEVER, the service was not good. My part time (freelance) job is a Mystery Shopper and unfortunately today my favorite local burger joint would have failed my inspection 😡🤬💯 Softly, I see she may be a young HS GIRL but she was not attentive or alert to her customers! Every time I needed her for something even the things she forgot in my order ALREADY SHE WAS too busy being on her phone and eating soup and chatting with coworkers 🙄I had to ask another staff person to get her! Some things could have been addressed (AVOIDED) but she left so quickly when we said 1 thing that I didn’t have time to say anything else. So, either she requires MUCH more TRAINING or a different position BOH! Before leaving I asked for a manager SEVERAL TIMES without success and was told that they just left 🙄🤦🏽‍♂️SO… MANAGEMENT PLEASE...

The atmosphere and vibe are super nice as the restaurant has a nice interior and walls full of decorations. The restaurant was not too spacious, but it was not too small either, and it was just the perfect size for a restaurant. Parking is easy and accessible. The service is somehow great when it comes to the staff, who are very friendly and accommodating, but the food comes after what seems like a really long time of waiting. This restaurant is known for its burgers and shakes. The menu has a variety of options aside from the burger and shakes. I've known this restaurant for a long time, but this was my first visit because I never got to try it for whatever reason. Since they are popular for their burgers and shakes, the burger and shake were exactly what I ordered. I specifically ordered their king-size deluxe beefburger and a shake. The burger had a huge serving and the patty was bigger than the bun. To describe it briefly, the burger tastes fresh and delicious. It deserves to be popular because it was really that great. The burger comes with hand-cut fries, which are crispy and well-seasoned. Then, there are the shakes, which also taste good and are definitely one of the best shakes...

All my life I have come here to dine and take out. Even through covid I love to support this amazing diner. But recently they have hired a new cashier Tyler (this is what he claimed his name was) and he has the worst customer service ever.

I ordered on the phone and he told me my total and the time. Then I went to go pick up and I was missing part of my order and I went back in. He was confused on what I was asking for and still gave me the wrong item. He claimed that they never had what I was asking for. I then went to check the rest of my order and nothing besides getting a cheeseburger and fries was right there were raw onions no pickles and tomatoes. I went back in and clarified my order. I asked again for a cheeseburger with burnt onions sweet pickles, no tomatoes and no mustard and he referred back “you didn’t say no mustard before”. This made me realize that he knew my whole order correctly but refused to relay it to the kitchen and had me come back to the counter 3 times to get my correct order.

Eventually I did get what I ordered but it took 3 tries, an additional 12 minutes and a gaslighting attitude from him for...
