Flippin Flavors — Restaurant in Lake Township

I stumbled across this black owned gem just yesterday! Me walks in ( owner) smiles and greet me! I order 3 salads and a lemonade! Berry explosion, Mediterranean and jerk, chicken salad. I’ve never had a strawberry salad so good and the raspberry dressing was made by Angels….. Her and her husband was so nice, welcoming, knowledgeable and just an overall vibe! I really appreciate how when I told her to remove things from my food she insisted that I tried it the original way if I wasn’t allergic. So I did and baby I loved everything..

5:30 pm I arrived back at this restaurant now for dinner. Don’t judge me judge yo mama, now I orders vegan Philly, an original chicken and super chicken Philly. And one of every lemonade, And when I say I love love love their food and customer service. Babe……

Ok now you can judge me I just left there for the 3rd time in less than 24 hrs and today I orders 2 salads the berry explosion salad, Mediterranean salad and a vegetarian hoagie look they don’t disappoint it didn’t even seems as if anything was missing it gave me the satisfaction as if I was eating a hoagie with meat! I mean everything about them and their food is a whole vibes. I am now and forever will be a customer. I love place that has vegetarian options.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, friendly, delicious 🤤 place to eat!

I don't know how many times I've passed this place, not paying attention to what it is. On what appears to be a very up-and-coming clean and safe strip, joined by a Jamaican Jerk Place and a very good Bakery , it's easy to get lost in the sauce , but sauce and flavors make this place a standout on its own. I think it's the title. Driving by I just assumed they were selling ice cream. This places is a very well done sandwich and salad shop. Although that title is not really giving this place justice if you think that's all it is. They have a wide eclectic mixture of hot and cold foods. The bread was fresh ,and the meats were well seasoned. I ordered three items, the Philly chicken, the turkey hoagie, and The Jerk salad. All were very good, and I ended up sharing. I couldn't get a menu (they were out ) but I definitely plan to go back and try something completely different. You can tell when things are made with love and people know what they're doing. I also tried two of their homemade drinks ,which they also had a wide variety of. Service was very inviting and a breath of fresh air compared to some encounters nowadays. These are good people, and the atmosphere seems to feed off of that. Hope they're not vampires cuz I definitely welcomed them to the neighborhood. They're not, one of my sandwiches had garlic in it. DELICIOUS!

I ordered the Super Philly Cheesesteak with extra mushrooms. The steak was seasoned wonderfully & the mushrooms & onions (I requested no green peppers) were fully grilled to perfection [not raw & crunchy] & placed throughout the sandwich: at the bottom, in the middle & at the top of the steak. YUM!

Additionally, I ordered a turkey hoagie with everything on it. The sandwich was FRESH, tasty & delightful! It was also very pleasing to eyes, making me ready to dive in!

Both sandwiches were packaged in appropriate, quality, containers - no spills, no drips in my bag.

The restaurant has big windows making it bright, & airy. There are a few tables that were cute (not typical, non attractive restaurant furniture) with nice centerpieces. I placed a to go order & my food was prepared and in a bag in no time. The cashier turned out to be the owner! She was warm & welcoming, convincing me to try one of their several flavors of homemade lemonade. I tried the blue raspberry flavor & loved it! Let me also mention the REASONABLE prices!!!
