James Avery Artisan Jewelry — Attraction in Lake Worth

I have purchased many gifts for my wife and daughters at James Avery over the years and I will sadly say yesterday was by far my worst experience ever. As I went in to the Lake Worth locations there were FIVE staff members in store and not once was greeted. I selected what I wanted to purchase and had to go to the counter to ask for help although the staff had obviously seen me as there were only one more customer in the store at the time. I purchased The April Gem Stone Cross for my wife. In the case it very specifically said The Cross was $107.00. Along with the Cross I asked for an 18 inch chain which The sales person did show me. As I was checking out it came up to a total of $199 and change. I asked about the shown price in the case vs the register price and all I received in response was "Guess it has something to do with the stone, the cross will be $145 if you want it". I paid the amount and left, yet the entire time the staff had zero personality or show of any desire to help a paying customer. Extremely Disappointing!!!!!! I’m sort to give it 2 ⭐️ but I’m sorry, the jeweler is always pricy and then when you go in to get your stuff polished or cleaned they take so long to help you, bc only 1-2 workers are there.. but today I went in to get 4 charms added, 2 of the 4 broke off.. they wanted to charge me $25 EACH charm, mind to 2 BROKE of the bracelet.. so why am I being charged $25. Each? I understand $5 or even $10 but $25??? Anyway I’m very disappointed w this place.. I was told from one lady jewelry tarnish is if you don’t wear it a lot then this lady says oh well it’s wear and tear so that’s why they broke off so that happens when you wear it a lot, so WTH am I supposed to wear it all the time or not weird at all?...

My 18 year old daughter put "James Avery Charms" on her list for Christmas. Honestly, they've been on her lists for almost 2 years. I didn't know anything about them, and decided that since it's still an item that she wanted to stop in and check them out. What a beautiful store!
