I get that it's the day after Christmas and no one really wants to be at work, but this has been ridiculous. My daughter (15) got a gift card from a friend and used part the other day with no issues. So today around 3:30 she asks me to take her in because she is in love with the Mac-n-Cheese. Stupidly I waited in the car when she went in to get her food, or I would have dealt with it in the store.
First, the card was $0.12 short for her order, so they have to cancel the order because after a card has been run they cant take other forms of payment (supposedly). She runs her card for a smaller amount then the gift card, which then gets declined. Turns out, canceling the transaction adds a fee to the card! Amazing I know. Finally get that fixed, kinda, and she got the order. But it wasn't right. They made her PAY for the fixed order items, then refunded the money back to her gift card after spending about $10 out of pocket.
I dont find this out till I'm half way home in this wonderful rain, and she doesnt want to deal with it. Well, we get home and her food is half full, the bread is stale and my other daughter's food, which she gave money to my older daughter to get her has the same problem! Working in retail and fast food in the past, and being a manager now in basically a retail situation, this BS didn't/wouldn't. But with other issues I've had with this Panera in the past, like waiting 30 minutes for food, and with this stunt, I'm doubting...
Read moreI ordered the Mediterranean Vegetarian Sandwich, SW Chili Lime Salad w/o chicken and the Summer Corn Chowder Soup. Of all my orders, my chowder soup was made incorrectly. I noticed there was chicken in my vegetarian soup, I called to make the store aware of the error that was done. The manager on duty (whom refused to give me her name, placed me on hold several times when I’d ask), questioned if I put chicken in my vegetarian soup. She kept stating that she was confused and asked me if I was certain what chicken looked and taste like. I told her that I have the soup, she stated she doesn’t need the soup, just the receipt. Once I noticed that the manager was not hearing my concern as I cannot eat meat ( medical reasons), I asked for the GM name and number so I could call and express my concerns to him/her, she placed me on hold..again. The poor service I received from this error is horrid. How a person decides (or has) to eat is not a joke or something to not take serious. For myself and any other vegetarian/vegan or plant-based eaters; I urge you to select a different location to eat. This location manager did a poor job of utilizing her customer service skills and simply apologizing for the error made and no offer to fix the error. **I’ll update my post once I go up to the location to show the...
Read moreWe used to trust panera as our go-to when we wanted to spend a little more to get a higher quality meal. We've been to this location several dozen times over the years. Over the last year, I noticed it going down hill, but our last visit was our last visit. Getting someone to show up at the register can be a challenge, but I can get past that. They have cut their baguettes in half. They have stopped putting a reasonable amount of meat on your sandwich. I ordered a bacon sandwich, and it had one measly inch long slice hidden in the middle. At first I thought they just completely left it off. The bubbly drinks aren't cheap, but they've always been good. That is until recently. They've decided to fill them with mostly water. Same for the fountain drinks. Our of the 4 of us with different drinks, I tried them all, and all were watered down to the point of being nasty. This was done deliberately. At this point, I'm done. If you're going out of business, just raise your prices and continue providing quality food. I'll give it another chance in a few years after they file chapter 11 or whatever, but it's off the...
