I have gone to this location since I moved into the area. Seems to be different staff than who i had normally had previously. I asked for an oil change (the usual service). When they directed me to turning on the car they yelled to turn it off. They told me they have pinched a gasket and about a 1/4 quart of oil went everywhere. They told me they replaced the gasket for free. Early monday morning the roads were wet. I noticed a significant amount of oil leaking from my car. I reverse into any parking spot so I noticed a trail of oil when I get out of my car. I call jiffy lube thinking they could look at it to make sure they didn't do something wrong. Their response on the phone was that they believe it is just visual oil from the 1/4 quart oil. They believe that because it was raining it made it seem like there was more oil being lost. I told them I don't think this is residual oil. They told me to come in so they could look which I did. Fast forward jiffy lube maybe took 5 mintues to look at like. They told me the oil was full and they didn't see any leaks but wiped off some of the "residual". I left and immediately made an appointment at toyota for a diagnostic because the amount of oil leaking and for a whole week all while it has been raining would not make sense with their awnser. Get to my appointment at toyota and they say that the oil filter cup is leaking and they have no idea what jiffy lube did to it. It cost me 331 and some change plus my time off I had to take to do this. Not to mention I paid $90 for the oil change. Don't get me wrong I don't mind paying for the service if they do it correctly. But it has cause me more work and money. I currently put in a claim with the franchise. Hopefully they will reach out to me and I sure hope that they will right the wrongs they have done. My car is in good shape and I take it to get it serviced at toyota to make sure. I have never had any oil problems. At this point I surely would not reccommend...
Read moreHad a problem receiving a gift card from a Jiffy Lube last March. Was informed I qualified and would be getting a list of companies to choose from regarding my gift card. Then I got nothing....fast forward to August and still no gift card but plenty of emails back and forth asking where is my gift card and why haven't I received it. Wasn't happy about the run around I was getting. Then I got a call from the District Manager for Jiffy Lube. Extremely friendly, apologized profusely. He told me he was sorry I got the run around and offered me a free oil change in lieu of this gift card hoping to make it up to me. He sent me to Jiffy Lube #2049 in Lakewood WA. Brian, (District Manager) said to ask for Dave. I pulled into the parking lot and almost immediately Randal came to my window and said Hi are you my oil change Brian sent over? I advised I was. He put me in a bay, gave me the quickest oil change I'd ever gotten. The employees at this location are all very friendly, outgoing and the most professional group of guys I've ever met. They took very good care of me and I've found the location I will be visiting for all of my oil changes going forward. Met Dave, the manager and I was grateful they took such good care of me. Read moreI returned from a trip and was overdue for my oil change and couldn’t get into my normal service station, so I called and was happy to learn I could come in without an appointment. As a result of my experience, I’m going to switch my preferred company to Jiffy Lube, more specifically this site because I was so impressed with the level of care I received. Each attendant who assisted me was extremely professional, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure my cars needs were met and in a timely manner and with quality service. I didn’t feel like I was pushed to buy or add services that weren’t needed. They were genuinely good, hardworking employees with integrity that I seldom see these days. These individuals are what other stores should model as examples of excellence in customer service. My headlight was out as well and Jake and the attendant who checked me in (sorry for forgetting name)could have sent me on my way when he found they didn’t have the right tool, but instead he called and ordered it and was able to help me the same day.
