Palace Casino Lakewood — Attraction in Lakewood

I love this place. I like playing 1/3 NL hold em and there is always one of those games going on. The staff is very professional and also very friendly. I appreciate how the management handled a situation one time when I player wasn't running well and he was blaming a certain dealer. The dealer was ok with it at first and even apologized to the dude and admitted he made a small mistake earlier in the day with that player and the player would not let it go. The dealer after awhile wasn't ok with how this player was treating him and confronted him about it and tried to squash whatever was going on and the player still didn't want to act right so management stepped in right away and told him to be cool or kick rocks. To see the management have their dealers back like that and to put to an end of any type of hostile playing or work environment (in the dealers case) is a place where I want to play at. So great job for that Palace Poker Lounge. AND the food their is amazing. Its already reasonably priced and when you're playing its half off. Ill always be a fan of this place and ill always return. Food is Good new owners, but that should bring better games and tournaments, I hope they bring in some real money tournaments and help train their players to be the best in the world ,it's possible they gave some very good players to start with .My only question 1 Are the new owners only interested In profits?,or do they want to put tacoma ,lakewood on the poker map of the world and draw in real money through their investments in training classes on how to win in tournaments not only here and Las vages and the world and challenge the great poker players to tournaments playing against thier local train players and placing thier brand on the world porker map .And creating national brand from ground up or do they just want to make a profit nothing more .I can only dream that the new ownership, place their brand on the world poker map , Its thier money and thier...

The poker is great, but the food and beverage service is absolutely awful. Come to play cards and you’ll have fun. Come expecting to get some food or drinks and you’ll be wildly disappointed.

If you come here after midnight, don’t expect service from the wait staff. The waitresses will be clearly disinterested in paying any attention to the customers.

Just an update… the service is still absolutely awful at night. I don’t know if the evening servers just don’t like money or they’re completely incompetent. Either way, it’s ridiculous. I’ve been in the service industry for 15 years, and I’ve never seen anyone have such trouble handling such...
