The store itself was great. The produce looked great and everything was clean. The cashier I had was lacking in skills that help with working with the public. I am not sure if she was rude or just didn't want to be there. I did not have a huge cart full of groceries but had enough. I was unloading my cart like a normal person. She said step it up but I thought maybe I didn't hear her right. There was no one in line behind me. I was moving the cart to the end so she could put the groceries in it and stopped long enough to grab some paper bags to bag my groceries and she said it again. There was still no one else in line. The time frame had maybe been about three minutes. She then tried to make small talk with me as she finished cashing me out. I was confused so I just stared at her hoping she would morph into an alien. That would at least explain her weirdness. An older couple then got in line behind me and she did the same thing them. Hopefully she was just having a crappy day and that is not how she is...
Read moreI gave 5 stars because I love shopping at Aldi. I love the affordability and being able to fill up a cart and still spend under $200. Something Walmart, Meijer, Kroger, etc. could never do. However, I have had 2 experiences with the online shopping/curbside pick up where I was either charged for the items or extra items and didn't receive them, or items were replaced when I had requested no replacements. At first I thought maybe the first time was just a fluke so I decided to give it another shot. But the recent order had replacements that I didn't request and missing items but was charged for those items, I don't see myself using curbside pick up again. Maybe later in the future I will give it another try, but for now, I am going to stick to in person shopping. Thank you Aldi for making it possible to keep food on the table and in our fridges and pantries! We haven't felt the need to shop at the other stores listed above unless we can't find it at Aldi which...
Read moreAldi has low prices and good products. I regularly buy kitchen sink cookies, goat cheese, and effervescent lemonade produced in France. I highly recommend those products. I also always shop their nonfood specials. You never know what to expect and I have bought a variety of things from toys to composters to kitchen supplies at a bargain price. The quality matches brand name items and sometimes exceeds them. You do need to bring your own bags or buy some there or collect empty boxes as you shop. There is a 25 cent deposit to use a cart. My mom and dad used to shop at Aldi's, but I questioned their judgement until I tried it myself....
