Recently I decided to start coming back to this nail salon, my first visit was amazing and my nails look great. My second visit, the service was awful. The man upfront had an attitude, while I looking at the colors he told me to come over and heāll bring the colors to me. He grabbed two random books slammed them on the table, while the books were still sitting on the table I didnāt have a chance to move them he tugged on my hand and decided to begin. I asked for a chrome nail they told me it would be $62 and I told them āno Iāll just get the same thing I had beforeā. The man up front who did my nails kept pushing the chrome nails and was insisting heād lower the price for only a few dollars. Once again I told him āno I just want the pinkā. He cut my nails extremely short and didnāt ask what length I wanted them, he started applying white acrylic after I told him again that i wanted pink. He barely filed my nails, my nails were all different lengths and sizes and just overall sloppy. Once he āfinishedā he took out the chrome after I told him multiple times I wanted PINK, then he claimed that I told him that I wanted chrome. His partner next to him decided to jump in who also claimed that I told him I wanted chrome. Throughout the service he kept tugging on my hands and was tossing my hands around. Once he noticed they were super short he kept filing and at this point was honestly filing my skin. The following day I called and told them exactly happened, a lady answered the phone and as I was explaining she cut me off and said this ā you talking too much, just come in and we will redo.ā I asked her if I had to pay again and said āduh we donāt do services for freeā. I spent $50 for these chrome nails that I didnāt want and now they are wanting me to spend more money. Side note: this past year I went to nail school and although I am no professional I know the process of acrylic nails. This place looks nice but is extremely dirty. The drill bits are old and so are the files. Once he finished you are usually are suppose to wash your hands to remove any dust, instead he used a cold rag and wiped my nails off. He left my nails unfinished and did a terrible job at blending the nail in with my cuticle. I also should mention, that another lady was next to me getting her nails done and I complemented her nails. The man doing mine became extremely pushy and kept telling me to come back and get my nails done after his work was awful. I definitely do not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisited the website the night before. Saw that they were the least expensive "basic pedicure" in the area ($25), plus they were one of just a few who would be open on a Sunday.
The website was sophisticated enough to book your appointment. I booked it for the next day Sunday, 10/3/21. When I arrived for my appointment I was pleasantly greeted and they confirmed my service.
As I sat down, the technician informed me the pedicure was going to be $35. I informed her kindly, "no, I don't want the deluxe, just the basic like is clearly posted on your website. At that point there was a disagreement that she could not solve so she went and got the manager or owner whoever he was.
This gentleman obviously never attended Dale Carnegie's How to win Friends and Influence People courses, nor does he understand basic customer service. He told me the pedicure was going to be $35. I reminded him of the website pricing, and he told me the website was wrong in a very confrontational and humiliating manner.
I informed him that that's misleading in false advertising and I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau about my experience. I told him that I could understand if the price difference was $1-$5 difference from the advertised price is a sign of "intentional false advertising", and that what they were doing was advertising and inexpensive price to get people in and then inflating the price knowing that since it's close to what people would pay everywhere else they would just pay it even if they were frustrated.
At that point he essentially told me to pound sand and he didn't need my business. "Do what you have to do". Well based upon the way he treated me, and the fact that I think it's deceptive to advertise a price much less expensive than what they were going to charge I walked out went somewhere else.
Well they may be good at what they do, I would never know. What I do know they were successful at was getting me in the door with a cheaper price. At a minimum they're unethical I wonder if they pay their fair share of taxes? I wonder if everyone's licenses are up to date? Where there's smoke there's usually fire.
So yes mister I'm doing what I have to do. Conduct yourself...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent here for 4 years. I was a very loyal customer. My bill kept going up and up with NO itemized bills. Finally I questioned a bill. I called the owner He proceeded to call over the manicurist and pedicurist. The woman who did my pedicure lied and said I had a volcano pedicure . I always had the mint and spice. The bill with that lie did not add up. He was saying you had this and that. When I said that is not true, he never offered an explanation. Basically dismissed me. I have tipped my pedicuist at Christmas even though she didn't do my pedicure. It is when restrictions were being lifted during the pandemic and I didn't know she was back. I tipped both the woman who did it and the one who evidently thought I was an easy mark and lied. I will never go back. The owners are very cocky. The male walks around telling jokes in Vietnamese and the old story they all laugh while the customers have no idea what everyone is laughing about. That I dealt with. Not offering to make it right with an apology would have helped. You don't take advantage of any customer especially someone who has been loyal for 4 years. I understand the pandemic has hurt all businesses. However padding Bill's is WRONG. I have spoken to several people since then that have said the exact same thing happened to them. Lying to make money is WRONG. Buyer beware.A shout out to Ha who is honest and very good at her job. I won't name the pedicurist. She knows who she is and I am so very disappointed. She gave a good pedicure but lying to a customer is unacceptable. Especially to a loyal one.My guess is they make more money for...
