Dotty's Casino — Attraction in Las Vegas

Nothing bad to say about it.. Other than that machines being super tight but hell that's everywhere. One of the staff was especially pleasant to shoot the shit with - pretty sure his name is Jason - overnight shift guy, always friendly and professional and in a good mood, so that's cool.. Staff sets the tone of the atmosphere so it's crucial to keep good ppl like that on the roster. Other than that, not anything else noteworthy. It's a Dottys. ¯(ツ)/¯ Update;: Been coming to this Dotty's next to my apt fot about 6 months now and spent at least 10k in there and frankly haven't EVER even come close to hitting any kind of jackpot. I just go throw money away and haven't ever walked out of there with any significant amount of money more than I went in with.. To be fair, I haven't ever won anything in my entire life, no jackpot, no royal flush, no nothing EVER and I've been gambling for like the past 6 yrs straight now so.. Not like this place is any worse than any other spot - they're ALL just places to go and throw away money, knowing since I don't ever win. And I dunt want to hear about how that attitude is why - Bullshit. The fact is that I always go into a session with hopes of finally hitting a nice hakdpay taxable jackpot but so far, it's eluded me.. I've sent ALOT of cash here at this Dotty's and it seems it's extra stingey, like the machines are tighter than other places but I srsly doubt that's the reality. Really, it's just a bias in my mind which has manifested due to the fact that I spend so much more time here than any other establishment. Anyway, I'll go ahead and add a star 🌟 to my rating due to the staff like Joe and Chris and a couple of the ladies are pretty cool and hella patient with me.. I have a habit of getting extremely angry and I begin cussing out the machines and have even broke my hand on one or two after having especially bad luck - like put in a hundred dollar bill and just watch the balance dwindle with NO BONUS ROUND the entire time, like it's supposed to go up and down, win a little, lose a little - But it just gets lower and lower every spin, no bonus round, no nice little come up of a few dollars on a good spin.. Just every spin the amount decreases until the balance is $0.00 and that's the type of thing that makes me feel like I'm cursed or something. Idk but when it happens, which is quite often here and everywhere else, I wind up cussing and belittling the inanimate machine I happen to be losing to at the time and sometimes I simply blackout, see red or whatever and lose control of my reaction and watch myself assault a machine, like deck it right in it's grill, knock it silly, and do no real damage to it, but my hand is broken or leaking blood all over the damn place, so I get tf outta there quick like and always expect to hear about it the next time I come in, but so far no one has said anything about it ¯(ツ)/¯ Probably not the only dude that has done that, so.. Anyway, I can't recommend ANY gambikhg establishment as being a great place to enjoy myself because they ALL just diminish my mental health but I can't criticize this place for anything. Nice place gamble. Unlike certain other Dotty's locations (Charleston at Boulder Hiway, next to Home Depot) this place doesn't have a street ppl issue - everyone seems to be housed and no hookers sweatin ya.. So...

Want to flat out say they are very rude, I left my wallet on the counter and came back 15 min later and it was gone! My luck huh? So I asked the tenet if he could check the camera even telling him to make his manager aware and of course he said no and that he was the manager. But long story short I lost my I.D. 😞but prior to that my mother is a frequent customer and upon my arrival into town I was introduced by her to majority of the staff my my being a proud gambler at this establishment and not to mention she's lived directly behind them for the past 7years. So now everytime I go in there I'm immediately ask and now harassed about my ID and spoken to very rude 100% of the time by an employee named Eddie heavy set Hispanic, I was told one day to go outside to the and get water from around back if I was thirsty. In surprise and sis belief that he would deny me bottles water. I'm a 38 yr old make and deserve respect, but the sad part about it is I seldom go there to gamble, just for smokes only and now I don't even do that I send the wife you can't beat the price on Newport. But it Not just him its about 5 other who are rude to me each time I go and that's not a lot because of the discrimination I receive. I was told by my wife that she's been hit on numerous times and the y all know she my wife because we we're introduced together to them on top of being slandered to my mother about me when I say this again. I barely go there and that I'm trouble and 86th from the premises with out any knowledge or incidents of My kind. This vexed me. I will admit that I love gambling 'and since there is a Dotties nearby I gamble there every dime I get and the people who work there know that but would you believe that I stopped in there today to get out of the heat and to try a few bucks (I already gave Dotties all my money last week) and because I didn't have $10 in the machine they wouldn't give me a glass of water and it's 113 degrees here in Vegas and I have heart disease and not only was I very thirsty from the heat but also needed to take my medication too. After I sat there playing for over a half hour with the same $5 without being offered a drink I finally went to the counter and asked for a glass of water but the attendant refused to give me one saying I have to have at least $10 in the machine before I can get a drink when he knows I'm in there almost every day giving them almost everything I get! I can't tell you how embarrassed I was because this happened in front of everybody too! Just last week I watched my sister hit a jackpot of a few thousand and hand the same guy over $200! I am flaming right now people! Especially since I’ve seen them give water to the bums off the street that come in every once in a while to get out of the heat! I mean honestly they sent me $100 for my birthday but wouldn’t give me a lousy glass of water! What kind of people do they hire there?
