A little something called customer service (grooming services). My baby was scheduled for a grooming appointment today. We arrived at the location approximately 10mins prior the scheduled appointment. The representative acted as though she was not aware of the scheduled appointment and then proceeded to explained their booking policy requires at least 4-5 hours for each appointment, she already had 2 dogs that she needed to finish, she had not taken a break and the system should not have allowed me to book the appointment. She spends about 5-7 mins checking her computer and running to the back of the salon and then returns to the front. She then finally comes to me and apologizes and tells me she cannot take my appointment today and offers me 10% off services to come back tomorrow.
NOW: for us professionals who are in the business of customer service, I highly recommended using this situation as a customer interaction based scenario during your training with your employees. I would even go 1 step further and suggest that individuals in the business of customer service should be required to complete training on the elements of problem solving solutions with dissatisfied customers.
What is not mentioned in the above scenario is that I, the customer, have a broke foot on a knee scooter waiting to be serviced and given the ramped conditions of COVID, as a consumer, am trying to limit traveling.
Needless to say, I was dissatisfied with the outcome and the only solution provided from the rep to reach a reasonable/satisfiable one. I had to ask if someone else was available to complete the grooming service and she stated no. I am not sure how the system glitches nor her lack of time management had anything to do with my booking. Furthermore, why she assumed that anyone - especially with a broke foot- would travel back to the location on another day for 10% off services. That barely covers...
Read moreWho can not love Petsmart? First I love going in and seeing everyone else's babies. You see the cutest dogs there. I always feel guilty when I see one that I just want to get. The other day this woman had an 8-week-old little bear-looking puppy it eS so small and had a Teddy Bear face. I recently received a great deal order online and pick-up store deal on Hills Prescription Can dog food. It was on sale for 2.97 but even better, I bought 12 cans and received 12 cans free! If you go online they usually will honor the online price in the store. But with this particular deal, you had to order it for pick-up because online they would attach a manufacturer's coupon to each free can that the store did not have. The only problem I ever had there is my dog gets very nervous ( he was abused b4 I adopted him, they collapsed his trachea and it took about 3 years b4 I could pet him without him thinking I was going to hit him) and I brought him in to get his nails clipped. I went up to pay 4 two because it's less expensive. I went back and they gave him back to me and said get your money back. He had peed all over her. I told them if they let me go back with him he would probably be better but they wouldn't allow it. I didn't understand that. I know that with my last 3 dogs at Petco, I would go in with all 3 together. But he always peed at the vet. The 1st time he sat on my lap was at the vet. My Chiweenie would spray his anal glands at the vet. They loved us!! Not... Petsmart is not just for shopping, it's for socializing your dog, except for mine. He is still mourning the death of my Chiweenie whom he witnessed get hit...
Read moreI take my dogs to get bathe. And It seems they kind of rush through the process. And they push or try to cleverly sell you extra things, i understand its part of their job, but i don't like pushiness.... Respect my decision. They tried to sell an oatmeal bath because my dog had some flaking on his lower back. He only gets it when he is due for a bath which is generally a month when it starts appearing. She kept pushing. Or stated their default shampoo barely has a scent. If its that serious i'll bring my own shampoo than pay an extra 7.00 for one time use. Sometimes they send you home with cards of what they did and i can see how they just put answers on it to appease you. Stating my dogs nails were cut when in fact... they were not.
Twice my husky has not had her dew claws trimmed, the only nails of hers that need to be cut. And My lab mix nails were not even touch at all... I don't know if it was because the nails were black but if you do this regularly it should not intimidate you. I am very well capable of cutting them myself which i did when I got home but i was disappointed. If there was an other reason tell me i don't really mind, but don't lie.The only reason i don't bathe them myself is because currently i don't have the space at the moment to do it. And the bathing isn't cheap, my husky is 42.99 and my lab mix was 32.99. Still more reasonable them most, but make sure you review your work before telling the owner the dog is ready for pick up.
I will still come here... But only when i get a $10 off coupon in my email, which i get after i haven't been their...
