Let me start off by saying I wish I could give this location 0 stars.I gave them 2 chances and STILL no improvement, so fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.I refuse to let it come to 3 so I’m officially done with Tijuana Flats.I’ve been to the Coral Springs location and the one in Fort Lauderdale but Commercial just put a nail in the coffin!Lets begin with I am a 30 weeks pregnant and this place served me chicken instead of beef the first time.I ordered online and had my fiancé pick up our order and he got home and it was 2 chicken burritos instead of one beef and one chicken.I called and spoke to Ryan the manager telling him how it feels to not be able to eat what you not only CRAVE but Paid for being a pregnant female. Its not a joke....so he insisted I give them another try and he would give us free entrees next time for the inconvenience.I took his word for it and called yesterday and asked for him but Jessica told me he wasn’t in but she would help me.I told her my situation and she stated she would take care of me.My fiancé goes inside and let’s her know he’s here to get the same order we had last time.We get home which is 5 minutes away and I open the box that says “Beef” I bite into it and get a mouth full of CHICKEN AGAIN!I was so disgusted I spit it out.I opened my fiance’s Box which said “chicken” on it and it was my beef!!!The nerve! So I bite into my beef and can you believe the meat was COLD?Ice cold! Not warm...I had lettuce in the burrito so I couldn’t warm it up.I tried to struggle though 2 bites and couldn’t eat anymore.I spit it out and had to throw away the food because how dare they serve me cold meat after my first experience, then I got food poisoning from the 3 bites which is horrifying by the way. This is why this review is long. This is my way of saying SAVE YOUR MONEY and Go somewhere else!I am officially DONE with...
Read moreStopped in for lunch at the Tamarac location off of W. Commercial. Thursday around 11:45am. The dining room was empty with one dirty table. I walked up to the counter there was a young lady with black and pink dreads. She had hickeys on her neck. She took my order. I ordered my usual. Dos tacos, black beans, soft tortillas, no cheese, no sour cream. Business as usual. I went to the restroom. I noticed skid marks in the toilet. Gross. I sat down and waited for my food. I can hear the staff chatting a lot of laughing and what not. Usual restaurant banter. Not sure how long but it took a bit for my food to come out. My order must have interrupted their conversation. Finally my food arrived, usually the order is repeated back to you when they bring the food to the table. That didn’t happen. I noticed immediately that the order was wrong. I was served ground beef instead of black beans. I returned the order. I waited a bit longer and within 10 minutes the manager came out with my food and apologized to me. I said “thank you”. I looked down and there was cheese on my tacos. I ordered no cheese and no sour cream. I returned the food and asked for a refund which the manager did. I have to say that I have been a long time customer and have eaten at many Tijuana Flats locations all over Florida. Within the last year and a half I have noticed a decline in service and quality at your locations. I never write reviews. This is my first one but the public should be aware of this particulars establishments faults and lack of...
Read moreUsually pretty good service from Nick and the other young associates at the cash wrap, with no complaints on the food. But was a bit offended when the young man, who works in the back was handing out food and after handing food out to two other customers without question, asked if I had paid and even after stating of course I paid, he still stated I better check before I hand it off. I happen to notice the other customers of Caucasian descent and me being the only African-American Customer waiting was the only one asked in all my years coming to this establishment. I’ve never felt so disrespected. I know a lot of these young associates are very quick to do their job, but the training on how you approach that situation should be a lot better. Definitely might have to reconsider going back to this location, If that is the culture that you’re teaching employees. Not once have I ever been asked that in almost 20 years I’ve been going to that location. Tijuana flats training your associates who are going to engage with customers. I’ve worked in the food industry, and you should definitely check to make sure the order is paid before you approach the customer and this young man did not handle that situation correctly and I felt he double down. Tijuana Flats you need to do better and I will be posting this on...
