My family and I adore the C. W. Parker Carousel Museum and go back often.
The people who volunteer there are wonderful and always kind. The price for tickets is great! They have recently introduced these value cards that you buy that make the rides even cheaper. That would be a great gift for a child or just to buy if you take you children there often.
Our son had his 3rd birthday there and it was unforgettable! Worth every cent! We would love to do it again!
If you've never taken the tour, I suggest you do. The history is so interesting and you get to see other carousels and horses, their work station where they fix up old carousel horses, and so much more up stairs!
They often have wonderful events, sometimes free. There are family nights, I think on Fridays. You get a meal and rides for around six dollars. They let the kids bust our a...

It is a blue star program so during the summer the museum was free for our family. But we will be back even past that to ride that beautiful carousel again! It is a great place for rainy weather or if it is to hot! The price to ride is cheap because it is a long ride and way faster then normal carousels so watch out ๐คฃ. You can even get 20 rides for $20 and if you donโt use them all you can bring it back next time. My husband and I loved the history and beauty and the kids...

A tour includes a ride on one of the two working carousels. The tickets to ride a very reasonable so if the kids want to go again, let them! The main carousel also has some unique features like a lover's barrel and the horses are more spring-like in their motion. In addition to the two intact Parker Carousels, they have one of the oldest known intact carousels in the United States (not rideable due to is being nearly...
