When I first went here I was pretty impressed and had a nice experience. Went yesterday with my wife and some other family, I purchased tickets online with my rewards account, had issues getting confirmation or just being able to view my rewards account online, tried to speak with local and corporate help, I have yet to have any of those issues addressed or resolved.
When in the theatre for snacks and what not, I literally said "hey I think I have a 5 dollar reward on my account wanted to make sure so I can use it". I will say the young woman was polite and said yes I do, but never applied it to my concessions order which for a 20 ounce bottle of water, 1 medium and 1 large drink and 2$ candy was over 18 dollars. On top of that, I was only initially given the 1 medium drink cup, I had to ask two to three times for my other drink and the water to ensure I got them. I was curious if my rewards applied, the receipt wasn't even itemized so you can't even verify your purchase, went back to who I assume was a manger in a suit who did try to help me.
However, I had to confirm everything I just bought, the gal who had just helped me earlier was right beside him didn't speak up at all and I wasn't being rude about it. I didn't realize there were two water sizes, I told my family to go ahead and sit down so I can take care of it to not make an unnecessary line and so they could relax, having the receipt and not walking 10 steps away I didn't think it was going to be such an issue. what was supposed to take about 5 minutes started turning into what I could see was much longer, I didn't know what size of water someone got and they couldn't proceed with the refund unless I had that to apply my 5 dollar reward. I said don't worry about it I was pretty over it by this time, he said oh well we at least refunded your 2 dollar snack, I said I have no problems paying for it, I was more irritated with the whole avoidable scenario in the first place but it was what it was.
Incredibly disappointed with the customer service in its entirety with the theatre. My email from FRIDAY earlier in the day hasn't even had an automatic response let alone an actual response. Local theatre just shoots you to their corporate office who doesn't respond either. I see if you don't get your ticket issued hashed out 24 hours prior to the showing their policy is also not to give you a refund, hard to hash out issues without available support.
The pricing normally for concessions I realize is where most of the money is but for one, I paid around 45 dollars or more for 4 tickets and nearly 20 for the concessions I was talking about. I literally would have paid the same or less at AMC. I feel like for the prices that were paid and the hassle with it even though this is maybe 6-7 blocks from me its almost worth more to go to AMC, pay almost the same but if there is an issue they make it right and you can get support on the phone or in theatre without requiring an act of congress.
I will say the biggest positive thing though, since the purchase and remodel of the theatre, it has been kept impeccably clean and the seating and comfort are much better. There have to be increases in prices to help pay for that I get that, but honestly, the biggest complaints I have is not so much the prices, but 80-90% your customer service and the timeliness and ability to receive it. With AMC so close, that's what going to make or break it. Not giving up on the theatre, but honestly was incredibly disappointed with it this weekend. Prior to this I had a 5 star review, always willing to change it back if shown things change and maybe more training given to some of...
Read moreFirst time visit to this location. I am a borderline fanatic anything Harry Potter/J.K Rowling fan. So I decided to go see the premiere of Fantastic Beasts: the Secrets of Dumbledore. Normally, I would go to a major theater location out of town or into the Kansas City area. However, due to the fact that many local places have been going out of business, I decided to support a local theater. The good mood was ruined as soon as we enter the building. The cashier on the register was extremely rude. We had to ask our question two or three times before she would even respond in a very flippant manner. Our first question was "Since we purchased our tickets online what is the check-in process"? She ignored us. We looked at each other and asked again. We were asking because at some B&B locations when you order your tickets online (which we did) if you walk down towards the theater area, there is usually someone posted to take your ticket. At first I thought her rudeness was based on the fact that I am African-American. However, my bestie is Caucasian and she was just as rude to her when she repeated the questions I asked. We were going to treat ourselves to a drink from the bar. After the rude experience, we decided not to spend any additional money at this location and just tried to enjoy the movie. If we had not already paid in advance we would have left. That is how disrespectful and nasty her attitude was. The reclining chairs inside the theater were comfortable however, they were extremely dirty. The cup holders were full of gunk (candy, gum and other miscellaneous items). Once we got up from the movie we had some serious leg cramps. We wanted to recline but the buttons on the recliner were sticky and gross. Overall, the movie was good and the environment was comfortable enough. The older cashier with the faded pink tattoo across her chest was extremely rude and I'm hoping she was not a manager because she really needs a course in...
Read moreTheater had 4 drink options and their straws weren't packaged and just sitting out in the open. Who in the entire hell leaves unpackaged straws out for public use during COVID? I'm as cautious as it comes and even I probably touched a dozen other straws just grabbing mine.
Went 2 hours without touching my $6 drink that I was forced to choose between the 4 choices they had.
Would've rather watched a movie on a calculator. The screen quality would've been better. Extremely too loud and the screen was so dim you couldn't see anything. Waste of money. Waste of everything. Could literally feel my hatred for B&B in LV grow with every increasing decibel radiating from the screen. I may be deaf now and the sanitary conditions here may kill me later.
I would rather cut my legs off and crawl around in a river of salt than come back here.
Even the employees hate it here. Can't forget that considering they told us as much when we complained. And I quote "our manager hates us."
Pathetic. Didn't even get a refund. Legends 14 AMC here I come. BBB...
