Disappointed. Normally we love AMC. I had purchased tickets for a movie forgetting that my husband and I both have AMC stubs rewards as I have had issues with my phones and have had to have replacement phones because the company provided broken phones. The person at the front of the theater as you went in could not provide any sort of answer as to how I could get credit for the movie for our stubs rewards. I had pre-ordered a large popcorn and a large drink for my son and me, but since we also were joining another family to watch the movie and they ended up having sheets in a different area my son went to go sit with his friend. I asked the ladies at the concession stand if there is any way I could get a small cup to put some soda in for me as well as get a container for me to put some of our popcorn into so my son and I could each have some popcorn and soda. I was given an extremely small cup for which I could not place a lid and risked feeling soda. None of the three girls at the concession stand were interested in providing help getting an additional popcorn carrier for my son and me or a slightly larger cup for which I could place a lid. They seemed more interested and conversing back and forth playing on their phones. Additionally when my son and I went to get our beverages from the machines the match and the floors were so dirty and sticky it was very gross. They had not been cleaned or disinfected in a while. Read moreThis is my go to theatre never had a problem, until yesterday me and my family who came to visit from out of town were ordering some snacks the employee Laura was helping us. My mom wanted to use her rewards so gave the lady her number, that didn’t work so my mom asked could she try a different number the lady rolled her eyes and said OK WHAT IS IT and that didn’t work either. So at this point I already wanna cuss her out cause what are u getting a attitude for, I didn’t though I asked her could she just look it up with a email she literally huffed and got mad said WE JUST TRIED DIFFERENT NUMBERS AND IT DIDNT WORK I said ok well I bought my tickets with my email so please try it thank you, so she tried it it worked. But seriously if somebody is trying to get rewards why are u mad u work at a theatre, it gets expensive. Mind you nobody was in line behind us. We told the manager and they apologized and said they would talk to her. But definitely not the type of experience I would want to have especially our family who come here a few times a month and that theatre we choose specifically because of how great it is. Thinking about choosing another theatre if customer service is going to be like that. I only gave 2stars because the managers actually seemed apologetic and the movie was good. Read moreGoing to watch the Metropolitan Opera HD performances here is pleasant. I reserve seats weeks in advance. They are comfortable. Theater 18 is right next to the bathrooms so they are easy to access during intermissions. My main complaint is the snack bar and the food available. The food is not very healthy and the snack bar seems barely staffed. (In fact, there seem to be hardly any staff in the whole theater. Only machines for the box office. It's very unwelcoming.) It is unclear (that is being generous) how a customer is supposed to move through the snack area to get food. My husband told me last night he never wanted to come to this theater again. Unfortunately it seems to be the only one in the area showing the encore performances of the Met live broadcasts. We are often attending these broadcasts at 6:30 pm on a Wednesday night so we are interested in getting dinner. How about offering at least a grilled chicken sandwich? I should say that in the past the bartender has been nice and the customer service desk helpful. The bar area is really the only area that looks...
