OMG what a treasure! I am a booklover by nature and was immediately drawn to this bookstore. It is a small two-story shop, which I believed to be someone's home. Every nook and cranny is filled filled filled with books and postcards, handmade leather bound journals, magnifying glasses, puzzles, scarves, you name it. We were in there for about 45 minutes just marveling. The owner was incredibly sweet and when he saw my kid playing with a wood puzzle he asked "ready to be puzzled?" In here, I found a childhood book that I have been searching for, for about 20 years. I couldn't believe it! For $8 dollars, I was able to finally find the book that I so vividly remember from my childhood. I borrowed it from the library and used it for my first classroom presentation in English. Basically, this was the first book I read in English and I remember it so well. I read it the whole way home and couldn't have been happier. I will definitely stop by next time...

Read moreIt's a beautiful little store with a great selection, however, the books are a little pricy, and the man that runs it yelled at me and shamed me loudly for not being able to afford a book that my child asked for. I was humiliated. I had quietly told my child that we needed to look somewhere else for that book, and the man screamed at me. I will never shop there again.
