The Loudoun Museum was incredibly generous to allow us to use their event room on the top floor for our after wedding breakfast. We got married at Birkby House up the street from the museum and were looking for a space to use for a family breakfast the next day. We hosted about 35-40 people and had the entire space upstairs to ourselves, were able to bring in breakfast, and set up the room to our liking. Our guests were also able to peruse the exhibits downstairs - it made for a very creative event! Renting the space was affordable and the folks at the museum are so kind! Read moreThe openness and easy access makes this small museum a great stop. It feels there is a lot more stories and history to expose especially for the demographically evolving town of Leesburg. The history portrayed can be upsetting and inspiring given Leesburg's past community split supportting the Union and Confederates. I hope more historical details are presented as it feels there is a lot more story that remains to be told. At least it makes for return trips more...
