Goodwill - Leesburg — Attraction in Leesburg

For years months I been going to this place and buying all kinds of stuff I needed even electronics most times things are over priced knowing a place where I could get the same thing for better price so I dont shop like I really need the thing I dont get it if it over priced is what I'm saying however reason to rate this place is to warn people NOT TO BUY ANY ELECTRONICS there you can not EXCHANGE OR GET UR MONEY BACK IF DONT WORK or wrong size!! Even says on recipes within 7 days.. today they wouldnt even change something for me and I was actually getting something more pricier then what I was trying take back... please be careful on buying electronics here at this place some them are listed like 30 bucks and it's like 30 went in trash... nice going goodwill RIP OFF. Change the prices on donates items or change yall company's name wrong to donate name for over overpriced store and customer sometimes loses money on your products... like why sell a toy with two missing wheels??? Serouisly for 5 dollars!!! Shopping cart suppose to have how many wheels 4!! Not two🤯🤯 give me a break!!! I'm bout just go to different goodwill store or just stop shopping there altogether. PLEASE CONSIDER ON DONATING TO YOUR CHUCH INSTEAD THESE STORES OR THE BIN. THE CHURCH HELPS PEOPLE BETTER THEN WHAT GOODWILL COULD PROVIDE. I ALWAYS DONATE TO FIST BAPTIST CHRUCH. THEY GIVE THE ITEMS TO PEOPLE IN SHELTER AND WHOM REALLY GOT NO 5 DOLLARS!! Thanks for listening...

I used to love to shop here. That was when they had a dressing room to try on pants. Now you can't try on pants or shirts or anything because there is no dressing room.

That might be acceptable if they offered a 2-week or 30-day return policy. But they don't. The last time I checked I think it was 3 days or maybe even just one day.

Meanwhile, not only is it more inconvenient to buy there, but the prices have gone way up over the past year, even over the past 3 months!

Come on Goodwill! You get your stuff for FREE! WHY ARE YOU GOUGING US to buy the stuff you get for free, while you pay your CEO $700,000 a year and pay your workers low wages?

The return policy is ridiculous. And with electric things they don't even check them well so your chances of having to return it are very high. I have used their own CDs to check out some of their CD players, and the players often don't even work!

I am absolutely done giving anything to Goodwill now. I will give it to the sheriff's thrift store.

And as far as buying anything at Goodwill, I will only buy things that I can thoroughly check out and make sure I want before I buy. That means no clothes, no electronics, nothing electric! Which means that I will go in there much less often and they will lose my business for the most part.

I can't understand how a business that gets all of their products for free keeps raising prices and lowering...

9/3/2023 I visited Goodwill Leesburg, and I wanted to share my feelings about their prices for donated items. Honestly, it was tough for me to see how high some of the prices were. I understand they need to raise money for their cause, but it's disheartening when the prices on donated goods are AS high as new items.

As a struggling single parent trying to make ends meet, I rely on thrift stores like Goodwill for affordable options. Seeing them sell dollar store items from this year at a $5-$10 markup is not just disheartening; it's downright insulting. I hope Goodwill Leesburg can reconsider their pricing so that they can continue to help people like me find affordable essentials. It's really important to us.

$25 for a damaged MIXING BOWL is insane. I truly hope they reconsider who they are allowing to price items at this store. I will also be letting all local outreach programs know to stop promoting this store. It is not a benefit for people truly in need. Greed has taken over at Leesburg...
