2024 Review: still love Cornbelly's and glad to have another year with them in Lehi! The competing sound issues from last year seems to be much improved. I was sad to see some of the entertainment from last year was gone, but the unlimited rides for season pass members was a nice touch. We didn't use it as much as we would have liked since it's near impossible when I'm alone with my kids (including a toddler) and they won't let me switch for my husband since he doesn't have a season pass. My main complaint is the super long season pass line to get in - there should definitely be at least 2 lines for season pass hodlers so we don't feel almost penalized for having a season pass. Also some things definitely need an update/safety inspection - the wooden ship playground towards the middle back has a hole in the top level that a child foot could easily fit into, also the little slides next to the wave slide shoot you out crazy fast and really need a pad at the bottom - my little one flew off & hot his head. Also why the heck is "payment" required to stand next to my 4 year old on the carousel??
2023 Review: I'm glad we were able to experience one year with season passes before they leave Lehi. It was fun to go every week with my toddler, and it took us several visits to experience everything (we still didn't even do it all). The pricing to get in is definitely on the high side for kids - it's interesting that my tiny 3 year old costs the same as an adult? We got our money's worth though since we live so close. Be prepared for dirt, mud, and leaving with a headache due to the noise level. There's one area especially where there are 2 different singing attractions and a loud speaker all competing together & it's just horrible. Also the pig race speakers are always a touch too loud & impossible to understand. Shows this year were mediocre, and I would love to see more food options on the healthier side, or at least dairy free. Nonetheless, I still love Cornbelly's and even without a punch pass there's a crazy amount of things to do! Sad to see Cornbelly's go since we won't be trekking down to the middle of nowhere Spanish Fork location
2019 Review: As an adult with no kids (but a kid at heart) I thoroughly enjoy going to Cornbelly's! The line system to get in is a bit ridiculous, especially if you've already purchased tickets. They really should have an Express line for online vouchers only. Once we finally made it past the ticket booths though, we had no complaints. For how crowded the place seemed to be on a Friday night, we only waited in line for things once or twice. They do a very good job at having enough activities to keep the crowds entertained, and I love how simple most of the activities are. They've really upped their game...
Read moreCornbellys/Insanity point was so fun 2 and 3 years ago when I first came to Cornbellys. It was becoming a tradition for me to go with a friend and then my husband. Last year it was pretty disappointing. There weren't enough actors for the haunted house and it seemed shorter and they didn't space groups out enough so I was able to see what was coming the whole time and our group couldn't slow down or wait or else the group behind us would have the same problem we were having. I thought maybe covid had something to do with the lack of scary/intensity (and maybe it did) so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and just thought it was an "off" year for them. I was really excited to come and give it another shot again this year. I came with my husband and brothers. However, this year was equally if not more disappointing. It seems they raised the prices and I thought maybe it would be well worth it. It was pretty aggravating that there were lots of extra/hidden fees if purchased online. We thought about buying in person to avoid processing fees but had an online coupon code we wanted to use. Maybe it would have equaled out had we just gone in person and not been able to use the code. After you pay a ton of money to get in, the food and activities also cost money. We got punch cards as recommended but it didn't cover meals just treats. They ran out of what we ordered when we wanted to have dinner. The food was disappointing. Insanity point was again, disappointing. The Haunt seemed short and understaffed. They took some parts out that they've had in the past that made it more fun (the twirly tube that made you dizzy and unable to walk across the bridge straight, the "buried alive" walls) which was disappointing and there weren't many people to scare us. When waiting for the haunt we were waiting for a while in line but they got behind schedule so they were putting groups through pretty quickly and it sounded like they also had some parts get skipped/not used so groups could get through the haunt quicker. This was annoying because we payed a ton of money for the whole shebang and got the summarized version it felt like so they could keep their schedule. All in all I don't feel like I got my moneys worth (everyone in my group agreed they payed a ton for a very disappointing eperience) and I don't think I will be going back anytime soon especially if the prices continue to increase. I think the start of the tradition has come to an end...
Read moreTo whom it may concern,
I'm writing to inquire about, and alert you to, false advertising on your main admission tickets page. Please forward this to all relevant management and corporate employees.
On your main ticket page for the Lehi location, the admission price claims to include 60+ attractions. On the subpages, this admission price is listed as including 60+ and 90+ attractions, in different places on the page. (Screen caps attached for reference.)
However, on your attractions page, you've only got 51 attractions listed at your location, total, which is already 9 less than your original claim (or 49 less, depending on which claim we're going off of). Of those, only 40 appear to be included in the admission price, which is 20 less than your original claim. Of those, 22 are either geared toward very young children, or are small enough in size that they are prohibitive to anyone over the size of a very small child.
In other words, you've only really got 40 attractions included with the admission ticket, and optimistically speaking, only 18 of those are truly accessible to kids or adults age 10+. Many of them are not at all usable for anyone older than approximately second or third grade, depending on the person's size. Regardless of how it's broken down, the claim that there are 60+ attractions included with admission is false. The best you could claim is 40 attractions, not more. Even that is stretch for a good number of your patrons.
Your site is not only misleading, it is flat out false advertising. Every single person who walked into your park expecting to have access to 60+ attractions should be upset about this. It's absolutely not ethical, and it's not okay to take the money of hardworking people while misleading them about what they are actually getting for the cost of admission. It's even more outrageous that you refuse to refund anyone who discovers this massive discrepancy, or complains about it.
Thanks for hearing me out, and thank you for your time. I'm hopeful you will correct these things. If I had more energy for fighting this battle I might seek legal action. There is probably a case here for it, where cheating people is...
