We had gone opening day and bought $100 worth of arcade credits and the system lost it. When we told the guy we had bought $100 worth of tickets he snickered and didn’t believe us. The problem was correct and he apologized for not believing us but still kind of unprofessional.
Let it be known that my family and I will continue to go here, perhaps in moderation and for the bare minimum experience. However, my review is meant as informative and not trying to bash the owners of this BRAND NEW establishment.
Regardless the place is expensive but great for kids 14 and under, however it is terrible for adults. We tried to buy two large pizzas and 6 drinks and a couple beers ($75 or so in food) on a Sunday afternoon but after looking around all the tables were filled with parents who weren’t eating, they were just sitting and wasting a table meant for dining so instead of eating there (probably on the floor) and going back to the arcade, we just left and ate elsewhere.
The line to get in, EVEN WITH A “RESERVATION”, was 20-30 minutes and the food line was also a 15-20 minute wait and again they had no seating due to parents just sitting and waiting for their kids to be done jumping. I recommend avoiding this place Friday to Sunday or just bring a backpack with juice boxes and sandwiches and snacks that you can eat on the floor.
Now, the jump area is great for the kids. Lots of cool stuff included in the cost of jumping (slam dunk lanes, dodgeball, ninja course, battle pits, a landing blob and out course trampolines.) We have also done the XP arena and my 7 years old liked it. The arcade is smaller than expected and the games are so so, however it’s designed for kids not adults. The prizes are very underwhelming even my 7 year old was disinterested in the prizes. They don’t have a single prize worth saving tickets for like Dave and Busters does but that kinda makes sense with this being aimed at children. We have yet to try bowling or the VR but it’s on our list. We have VR at home but not with the treadmill so...
Read moreI want to start by saying I think this is a fun place for kids in Leominster and to give it a chance, but there is some stuff you should know. The line to get in was very slow and didn't move for a while be prepared to wait. The arcade was small but still fun. All of the games were nice and clean. I have to be honest and say the place felt pretty cramped, like they're trying to do too much in one space. The line to get food was super slow. Speaking of food.... save yourself some heartache and eat before you come or eat afterwards. The area where they make the pizza looked FILTHY, but by the time we were leaving (like 2 hours after we got food) they had finally cleaned it. There were definitely people there handling food that should've had on hair nets. They were at least wearing gloves so thats a plus. The food is extremely pricey for what they give. For example I paid $6.99 for a side of fries and I got like 6 fries in a tiny metal basket. The kitchen made a lot of little mistakes. They fixed them when brought to their attention but after a while you get tired of going back and asking for things to be fixed. I got some wings that were the highlight of the kitchen pretty tasty even though they had to be sent back because they forgot to sauce them. One of the last things I got was fried dough it was supposed to have some kind of cinnamon stuff on it but what I got was still very cold, almost frozen in some spots, pizza dough with a light sprinkle of powdered sugar. Didn't bother going back was pretty much ready to go after that lol. The bar though was lovely that bartender, didn't catch her name, was a super star. Very sweet and made great signiture drinks. Overall take the kids have fun, maybe buy them a happy meal before you come. All of the kids there were having a blast and I can't wait to bring my nephews, they'll love the trampoline area. I'm sure every thing will improve as time goes on and they get into the groove of things. Prehaps they could develop a checkin app to make...
Read moreJust wanted to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT AND an even BIGGER THANK YOU to the entire staff at Launch Leominster. Last weekend, we had my grandson's birthday party there and it was absolutely one of the BEST parties we have ever thrown. Let me start by saying how impressive and fabulous it was to be greeted by the general manager, of Launch Leominster, Andrew Pierce, literally upon entering the location. He made us feel welcome and helped us carry Party balloons, favors and more up to our party room without hesitation.. We have thrown many parties for our kids at so many different places and this literally was the first time we were greeted by the General Manager. What a great way to personalize a relationship with each of your customers promoting a positive experience from go. Loved this! Caroline, our party hostess, was equally fabulous! She assisted us with our decorations, setting up our tables and favors and then informed us about all of different things the kids could do on the party schedule. There was literally something fun to do for everyone there. Caroline answered any and all questions we had, and literally began taking over all the work needed to be done for the party from that moment on. Her kind nature and enthusiasm made the party that much more fun and special. And for that and so much more, we could not thank her enough. Many places promise a stress-free, fun birthday atmosphere ...but this amazing team of motivated individuals made sure this was accomplished by making our party a fun-filled time for ALL OUR GUESTS to enjoy! Every single staff member greeted us with a smile, went out of their way to be of assistance and made the birthday boy and all our guests feel right at home. That alone was worth everything! So just wanted to say THANKS SO MUCH to the entire Launch staff for teaming up to provide an oh so fun birthday for my grandson and for everyone who came to celebrate with us! GREAT...
