My experience was disapointing but they get 3 stars for the effort that some of the staff tried to fix the problems. I had a smoking room and at 1 am the ceeling started leaking water from the room above me. When i went to the front desk to report it because they didn't answer my 2 calls all she could do was offer to move me to another room. They didn't have any smoking rooms available so i was gonna have to smoke outside. She did put it in that if a smoking room became available before the end of my stay i would get it. That was appreciated but i also had another problem and the water had gotten all over a bunch of paperwork and my travel bag with my cell phone and a couple of my clothes that where on top of my bag including my suit. She said i would have to take that up with the manger in the morning. I tried three times to speak to him but the manger was unavailable so since i had to leave i left a message to have them call me. My cell works but the water has made the display blurry on me and its hard to read things and type. But i never got any call text or email. I had to pay over $75 dollars to get all the documents replaced because their was notarized papers and legal documents that the water ruined and it would be about $200 to replace my phone and would like some sort of compancation for my loss. Even if it was only a refund of that one night of my stay. Just something from them to acknowledge that they care about me and valued me as a customer. I have stayed it this motel 6 over 40 times. It was always my first choice whenever i came into the area to visit my family or had a gig in the north central Massachusetts or Southern NH. I am a dj and occasionally book events back home to get a rare chance to see my old life long friends. But I will now possibly look into staying elsewhere but their is very limited choices in reasonably priced hotels in the area and i have never had any problems before. But I still did appreciate the efforts the the staff did do to help me with my concerns. They just didn't have the ability to do anything to compensate me for my losses. So they get 3 stars for the support workers and 1 star for the management and since there is more support staff then mangement and my repeated positive stays i went with...
Read moreAVOID THIS “MOTEL AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY!!! Actually, this Motel 6 is more of boarding house than a hotel! Everyone looked high as hell, drunk out of their minds and extremely mentally disturbed! We saw working girls and their pimps, and the stench of people smoking dope was nauseating! Please read on because it gets MUCH worse!
After checking into the “motel”, we parked our vehicle in a spot across from our room. Upon exiting my vehicle, I was verbally accosted by a strange woman screaming at us simply because we parked next to her truck. When I entered my room, I called the manager telling him of the incident. The manager literally laughed at my concerns, said there are no security cameras and I park at my own risk!!!
I returned to my vehicle to retrieve my suitcase, and saw a note taped to my driver's side window by the crazy lady. Then, the crazy lady’s husband walked over to my vehicle, stands behind it, refuses to move, and just stared at me trying to be intimidating. I grabbed the nasty note off my window, walked around the other side of the vehicle, and went to the hotel's front desk. My husband and I told the staff that we were concerned for our safety and for that of our vehicle. The two ladies at the front desk did nothing to address the issue and actually had the nerve to start yelling at us! Just then, the crazy wife and husband enter the lobby and start yelling and threatening my husband and I. I had to call 911 and have the police address the situation, because I feared for my safety!!!
After the cops got rid of the crazy couple, the lady at the front desk begrudgingly moved us to a room on the opposite end on the motel. Not only did the new room reek of pot, people were doing drugs on the walkway outside the room and yelling and screaming all night long in at least three different languages! Worst of all, the staff was not apologetic, and only cared about their “long term residents” as they put it. If you want to be surrounded by: homeless, hookers, the mentally deranged, and active drug addicts then you will feel right at home! If you care about your safety, then avoid this Motel 6 at all costs! YOU HAVE...
Read moreI think 1 star is FAR too much credit! My fiance and I had to stay here due to him being on leave and conveniently located off rte 2 with plenty of shopping restaurants close by. Other than that we will NEVER return. The non smoking room stunk of cigarettes, both non smoking rooms we had since the heater was broke in the first room we got and then had to pack up and be moved to another room (which the woman who helped find us a new room was very kind) HOWEVER, the following day our uber couldn't get there until 2 to drive us to the Superbowl party we were attending so I asked the front for a 2pm check out. Check out is noon here. If I hadn't put my foot down the front desk employee would have told us no late check out at all. Instead of enjoying our last hour together I had to sit on the phone with guest services and wait for them to contact the the hotel manager (all over an hour difference) well John the manager called me back and proceeded to argue with me that HIS employees wanted to get home to watch the Superbowl so it would be a huge bother for us to stay that extra HOUR because of housekeeping leaving at 3pm. Mind you this was a Sunday with an empty parking lot! The tubs were stained rust and gunk and the towel holders you couldn't use because when you pull your towel out the whole contraption holder falls apart! The cost was 74 for the night AFTER military and AAA discount which is only a 20$ difference between a higher end chain and this place. best advice : PAY THE 20$ if you don't need to stay close to a base as we did! Not to mention the entire back side of the motel is clearly filled with addicts and other lovely things that go along with that lifestyle and it was very clear. It's very unfortunate because of employees like this is how...
