Mall looked like an abandoned building! Very dirty and hasn't been upgraded in a very long time! It has VERY few stores to choose from, and they were all a long distance from each other, so it was a lot of walking to go to like 3 stores. The view of closed down business, after closed down business on the way from one store to another, was so depressing! I really don't know how this "mall" is still in business, at all! There were maybe 2 places to eat, one of them being Auntie Annie's pretzels. Torrid was full of the rudest, most unprofessional employees I have EVER encountered in a store, and I shop A LOT! They tried telling me that I couldn't return a pair of jeans because I bought them on sale/clearance and that their store policy was that you couldn't return them. I told the woman SEVERAL times, that was against the law in Massachusetts and that they had to take them back and return my money (they were still in the package and had the tags and were in perfect condition, they were just the wrong size). She continued arguing with me, rudely. The jeans cost less than $20 and I walked about a mile, to get to their store, through a basically abandoned mall, that was sketchy, to say the least, after driving 35 minutes to get there, and then couldn't refund me $20, after all that hassle?! Absolutely ridiculous! I will never buy another item from that store! Not to mention, her outfit was completely trashy and not at all appropriate for work, a garder top with everything showing! No one wants to see that! The entrance to the mall and parking lot looked like every single drug deal in the city/town happened there. Not...

Read moreThe mall is at a great location but like many malls it has changed a lot. There are a good number of great stores here and an excellent place to pick up a variety of gifts or treat yourself to a little pampering.
The management company has done a lot to make the main corridors nice and inviting. The carpeting is really nice and the finished walls are covered with large historic photos of the surrounding area that are really interesting.
I parked at JC Penny and walked to the other end to Jo-Ann's and enjoyed the early spring sun coming in the sky lights. Unfortunately one exterior door at JC Penny is still closed so you have to park at one of the other entrances. The Gardner Outlet Furniture store moved into the old Macy's and looks really nice.
It will be great if some additional businesses are able to make this their home.
It is a exvellent location and the resturants nearby are mostly new or freshly renovated. Easy...
