I visited market basket Leominster location August 27 early afternoon though the selection is large and in amounts bountiful and prices fair. But unfortunately since March when the pandemic started I did not visit due to the fact what I heard from Leominster Fitchburg location how it had a positive corona virus in the midst. I decided to give Leominster Market a chance and go back and what I saw was very uncomfortable due to the fact that they were signs on the floor and at the register but the managers and supervisors were more attentive to cashiers standing doing nothing other than being in the isles and making sure that everybody was moving along the isles like they’re supposed to I saw a lot of clusters of people talking for over half an hour when I was trying to get my groceries it was a social event not a shopping event and I believe that this is why we are not progressing to make our living situation better. The cleaning options in the entrance of this market not good at all, one stand broken with wipes that is all they are providing and too see the carriage assistant outside sneezing on the carriages as he was collecting them and not being cleaned unless customer cleans themselves That is unfortunate. I believe they could do better The same way Hannaford has their guidelines the same way target has the guidelines why can’t others continue abiding by the guidelines I’m sure that I’m not the only one who feels this way and maybe I’m the only one who’s expressing this but I am concerned and that’s why I’m sharing and I’m sorry but unfortunately other than myself I will spread the words to my family and friends of the situation so they may go to other locations to shop for their foods. I thought the community and business of Leominster where more responsible but after what I saw yesterday I guess I was wrong. But now thew carry them only during the Thanks Giving & Christmas holidays. Usually I miss them. But, I found them yesterday. I grabbed enough to give as gifts and have some too. Last week we (my hubby & I. He loves it) were looking for the very large can of Swiss Miss with marshmallows, but it wasn't there. So I looked to see if, just maybe, there might be a substitute. I did find one with a Smores flavor. It's so yummy We will be getting some for Christmas gifts. Yes, it's that special. We know it'll be a big hit. We have made Markes Basket our main store to get everything from for many, many years. We do travel from out of town to get there. It's worth the trip. I do have a special NOTE for you. Most of the time this store is quite busey, & you might not find an accessible store worker to ask for help finding things. I've learned to use my cell ph to call the store (yes, while I'm in the store) & ask where things are. This works very well. It's faster too. So if you are in a real hurry, try it. I Garentee it saves time & frustration. Even their produce is fresh & clean. It's the only store that carries Aloe. I get Aloe Vera leaves to make into a drink with water. Remove the skin. Read moreThe last two Fridays, I have not had the best experience ordering pizza. This Friday however, when I approached the counter to ask for slices of pizza, he told me it was going to be at least 45 minutes and an unpleasant manner. Not only was he not very pleasant to me. He also wasn’t very pleasant to the customers that were in front of me. I approached somebody who was stalking shelves who directed me to the store manager, although the store manager was nice. He seemed to dismiss the fact that his employees rude, and although he was able to get me what I needed he just said that they were very busy and that they would catch up. The purpose of me going to the manager was for him to be able to acknowledge that his employees were rude by instead of acknowledging that the employees were rude, he just tried to solve the problem. I am appreciative that he tried to solve the problem, but to be honest, I would’ve rather not gotten the pizza and know that the way that his employees treated customers was not acceptable to him. Then I go to check out because I had 20 items or less, and the cashier decided that it was more important to check out with the employee that came up behind me.
