Dallas Gold & Silver Exchange — Attraction in Lewisville

Looked up the best jewelry sellers/buyers in my area and DG&SE in Lewisville was literally #1 in the search result hits for me. So, I came in just this Friday, for the first time ever, to finally be rid of an old, late-90s birth necklace handed down to me by my grandparents. It was falling apart, too small and just not my kind of style at all. I've never been into jewelry, for the most part, and don't really have much money to spare for repairing most anything, let ALONE jewelry ha. Met Daniel and he was able to strike a REALLY solid deal for me. Not bad at all, I thought I was going to get far less than that! And Daniel was able to quite instantly recognize exactly what carat my necklace was, what region/culture it's based in and a couple other neat facts about a few other topics related to jewelry (among other questions I had in addition) not just anyone on the street could tell you without clearly having real knowledge and years, if not decades, of expertise in this sort of thing, so Daniel is obviously legitimate and highly-knowledgeable in his field, and that innately reassured me from the jump!

Will definitely keep this business in mind if I ever have any other pieces of jewelry I'd also like to hopefully get rid of, exchanged, repaired, or perhaps even purchase, from DG&SE in the Lewisville area at any time! 11/10, if could rate DG&SE that. Easily.

My experience here was not the deemed favorable nor professional here. When I brought in a diamond ring to sell, the transaction was fine and everything went through. However, later on, I received a call being accused of selling stolen jewelry under no factual evidence. As I tried to call to talk to Daniel Cerrato, he told me that he would try to help me only to find out that he ghosted me and was no longer willing to help. I have already had previous problems with the Dallas location. When I was this location, they made vulgar and unprofessional comments such as “signing my soul away” when I was selling a piece of jewelry. It seems as this company as a whole is not as renowned or distinguished as they are portrayed to be. Instead, they are going to get over on you and waste your time. What can I say, best experience as always. Daniel is the man to see and here's why. My few times purchasing jewelry dates back probably close to 12 years now. I met Daniel at that time at the Dallas location to help me with an engagement ring. I was so blown away by the deal and honesty that I have followed this guy to every location he has worked at to this date ending at Lewisville. And I will follow him again. Besides the great deals he offers and making you feel like you understand enough to start selling jewelry yourself, he breaks it down so that you leave with quality and not quantity.
