Grant Park Recreation Center — Attraction in Leyden Township

Recently added sprinkler park. Kids love it, but it causes an issue when wet kids slide on plastic slides. I saw a small kid almost fall off the slide halfway up because the slide was wet from the child who just slid in wet clothes. Other children complain their clothes got wet because of wet children using the slides. There should be some kind of separation between the playground and sprinkler park or a warning prohibiting children in wet clothes sliding down plastic slides. Other than that nice place for...

I do not recommend this park district. Our family has used many other facilities with no issues. The e-learning camp has giving us on going issues and realistically caused more stress on us as parents than just keeping them home during this time. They are not equipped to handle children. I highly recommend Franklin Park Park districts programs...

I absolutely LOVE this park, play ground, fields, rec center....just about everything and I am super EXCITED to see how our new splash pad is going to be like!
