I would rate this -5 stars. Just went over to shop. Had about $100 worth of items. I was checking out at 11:55pm (they close at midnight) One of my items did not have a UPC and I did not know. They did not want to go get an identical item so they can scan it and i can purchase it because "they would't return to the register on time". First of all, I have never heard anyone say this to me anywhere ever!! The motto for retail is always "the customer is always right". She did not want to sell me the item because it had no tag n she was too lazy to get a new one. There were plenty of items identical to it. I am sure it would have taken about 2 minutes to go get the item and scan it so that I can purchase and leave satisfied. I kindly explained to the lady that it was not my fault that there was no tag on the item and she replied extremely rudely with "well its not my fault either". It honestly was a case where the employee was too lazy to go and get the item or call someone to bring it. I could have even gone to get it. But they did not let me and threated to not ring me up if I did. The part I hated the most was the way the employee handled the situation. She honestly lacked customer service skills. She was rude and talked back to me in a deceiving way, unprofessional and with so much attitude. I grabbed my items that were in my cart and put them back on her counter and left angry. i did not catch her name ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ and I definetely Did not buy anything. A place that does not value their customers does not deserve business. One thing for sure. I am DONE SHOPPING AT WALMART. I prefer TARGET. Saving a few penies is not worth it. Go shop at a clean place where u can actually get around the store n theres not junk all over the aisles. And people are glad to help u. Go to Target! This is So sad cause I spent $100+ every trip and I went there like 5-7 times a month. Advice: Provide customer service training to all your employees. Bad attitude towards a customer= unsatisfied customer= NO BUSINESS Also dicipline your employees that are rude to customers and do not want the company to make that extra buck because they are too lazy to get an item ๐ก You do not need those employees to stain your company's reputation. Walmart could be making much more money if they hired the right people and trained them right. shame...

This is the most horrible experience that I've ever had at your store. I'm 69 years old and I'm not seeking a job as a cashier. If the customers have to be the cashier and not get paid for the work, atleast cut down the price of your merchandise and add some decent customer service. Don't allow your customers to try and work thes cashiers alone. When I ask for help this young lady walked pass me and went directly to a man and help him. I did tell her that I'm the one who called for the cashier. This mega-Walmart is out in Northlake. You need to add your cashiers back to your business. Many customer have had this same complaint. I'm not sure what your problem is, but I do know that your self-service is not going to work at a store this size, especially when you have elderly customers, unless the elderly customers doesn't matter to you. Even the young customers have the same complaint. You need to change back to the way that it was and bring in cashiers or just close down the store. There was no one there to help us when we needed it. Apparently you can't handle the business in your store. TARGET is a better store to be shopping at. They have everything that I need and the customer service is great by comparison. I cannot continue shopping at a store that is non-functional and the customers has to be the cashiers. I'm not the only one who is complaining about you horrible service and the fact that the "customers" has to be their own cashier without sufficient help! I am one customer who is not coming bach to your store. Since the change that you all have made, the service sucks if any. The employees are over-worked and unable to function properly. You need to take it back the way that it was because this way sucks. You are going to hear more complaints and you're going to lose business. Sucks! Horrible experience since you made...
ย ย ย Read moreWorst Walmart I've ever been to. The employees from customer service so the way to the employees who are stocking the issues are rude as hell and super inconsiderate. I had a bottle of mousse that stopped working a little over halfway thru.... In their policy if the item you bought is defective, you can return it. I could've understood if there was only a drop left but I had more than 2 weeks of product still left in the bottle that I can't even use. I paid for the whole bottle. She could have even met me halfway and gave me half credit but instead handed it back to me, laughed at me (her and her co worker), and said "I can't do nothing for u" like I was trying to get her out of money or like it came straight from her pocket. What happened to the customer comes first? Not to mention they have a policy for this reason... She can't pick and choose who she wants to honor it for. Then while we were shopping... My husband opened a freezer and was about to grab something but was stopped by this old man wanting to restock right where we were(even tho he was on the other side of the isle when we first opened the freezer) he stood literally on my husband do he couldn't even grab what he was looking for because he expected he should be able to move us to stock. There were so many carts full of food and other products in the way with employees stocking that you can't even see most of the shelves. Isn't that the whole point of 3rd shift stocking?? There are more employees in the way... And knowingly in the way....I have never been surrounded by so many ignorant people and it wasn't the shoppers!! It was 110% the employees!! I don't care if I have to drive an hour..I would never go back...
