I recently had an urgent situation that led me to visit the local AT&T store with my handicapped mother, who was visiting from out of town and desperately needed a replacement for her i phone that had unfortunately broken. Expecting prompt and understanding service, we were met with an entirely disheartening scenario.
Upon our arrival, we noticed a sign on the door indicating that the staff member, a Spanish gentleman with glasses, would not be available for an hour. It was perplexing and frustrating to see him inside, clearly visible to us, opting to prioritize his meal over customer service. He was nonchalantly eating a submarine footlong sandwich and enjoying a two-liter soda with chips, completely aware of our presence and the urgency of our need.
When we attempted to knock on the door, hoping for some empathy or at least acknowledgment, he chose to retreat further into the back room, closing the blue door behind him, leaving us completely ignored and in a lurch.
This experience was not only unprofessional but also incredibly insensitive, especially considering the emergency nature of our visit. The lack of basic customer service and human decency was astounding. We left the store feeling let down and disrespected, with our issue unresolved.
I hope this feedback prompts a reevaluation of customer service values and practices within this AT&T store. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and urgency, especially in times of need. I hope the...
Read moreMe and my family switched to AT&T and we’ve had nothing but headaches since. First, we were told we could get up to $800 each for our trade ins depending on the phone we were trading in and depending on the phone we were purchasing but when we took the phones in to process the trade in, we were told we could only get up to $700. Ok fine. Then, something happened when we first went in to switch and they couldn’t process the payment for the taxes on our devices so we were told we’d either be billed on our first bill or we’d have to come back in to pay them. A couple weeks after switching, my brother went in to buy a $200 JBL speaker and it turns out the speaker doesn’t hold a charge. When we went back in to pay the taxes for the devices he told the 2 reps there about the issue with the speaker and they said to bring the speaker in and they’d switch it for him but when he actually took it back they told him he had to contact JBL to see what they could do for him. My brother is an over-night truck driver and this speaker is his only entertainment while he’s driving. I should’ve known they were only being nice because we were also buying WiFi when we went in to pay the taxes. After all of this, as if it wasn’t enough, now on our 3rd or 4th bill we’re not getting the autopay...
Read moreI always hate when it is time to upgrade my family's phones because the same thing happens. The store reps sell new phones and promise to decrease the monthly amount you're paying with all of these promotions and discounts that will come off your bill in a few months. Months later, the bill is higher than before and the Billing department does not acknowledge anything that the store rep stated. After months of going back and forth between the store and Billing department I have gotten no where. The discounts and promos promised are non existing. My new bill is over $110 more than what I was paying before although it was only supposed to increase by $30. I definitely feel like we were lied to for a sale and commission. Now the store rep, Ena doesn't even work there anymore. When it's time to upgrade next time, I won't be returning as an ATT customer and definitely do not recommend anyone to shop at this location in...
