Nuevo China Buffet — Restaurant in Proviso Township

Today at Agosto 20th, at 330 at this location 139 W N AVE NORTH LAKE ILLINOIS 60164 At this place called New China Buffet we were completing discriminated, when we stopped and attempted tobeat. We tried to enter the restaurant. We were about to entered the restaurant and we were driscrimated in the most disrespectful way.

We were entering the restaurant with a person who was litterally coming out of the hospital and unable to eat anything. The lady up front asked us how many people and we responded 4, because the 5th person was not gonna be able to even try the food because of the medical restrictions. And she literally responded " if you use one of your tables, " You will pay for it, even if you dont eat" we respectfully tried to asked her to understand the situation and why the person wasn't gonna be able to be left in the car. And she said again. It doenst matter if you eat or not, you still have to pay"

I told her that she can't charge for that and she said the sign is clear " if you entered here, you will pay" . I asked her if i cpuld speak to her manager and she said that there was no manager at that place, i requested to speak with someone else and she literally responded that she was the only one there. I will find legal advise about this issue that violates a disable person's rights. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

I will say this some of the food is ok! But most of it cold by the time i got to my table! I get its a thursday but damn at least put some gentle authentic music on! Its dead silent! The bathroom completely disgusting!For me the worst is the lady cleaning up the plates from the table! being up your butt and watching you eat and i understand you need to clean and maintain cleanliness around tables but when you keep sweeping right next to peoples tables i can only imagine all the nasty dust getting on our food! And also i saw her harassing a woman with children for not leaving a tip! While me and my girlfriend were sitting there i told her to just give her something because she is actually clearing our table and others because were kind hearted and know people dont make much with the work she does but it still not the right way to get a tip by staring at us pull out money from our wallet and still not be satisfied! We were looking for a China buffet to give a first-time European visitor the American Chinese buffet experience. Unfortunately the other buffet was closed on the day that we wanted to go and so we chose this one. For the price I don't feel that the food was of an equivalent value. Probably the only thing that was of a decent value was the sushi. But there wasn't many to choose from when we got there. On a scale of 1 to 10 the cleanliness of the place was about a five and the bathroom was about a three. On a positive note our waitress tried really hard to accommodate us but we weren't really ready to give our plates when she kept asking and there was a huge language barrier because she didn't speak English.
