Panda Express — Restaurant in Leyden Township

The location at 128 North Ave in Northlake sucks. They are always burning the chow mein, but worst of all is they give you small portions of food compared to the other restaurants. Today I got a bowl with Chow Mein and Kung Pao chicken. The bowl wasn't even half way full with food. Other locations will fill the plate or bowl so that you have a decent portion, this location doesn't fill anything at all. They need to retrain their staff on proper portion sizes. What they're serving is not worth what I'm paying.

Update - 12/11/2024: Again their chow mein is still burnt. This place doesn't get it. It's not that hard to cook the food but they consistently burn it. You can smell and see that its burnt but they keep doing it. How are the managers not seeing this and teaching them how to properly cook food? You can clearly see scorch marks and black parts...

I Use To Love Going To The Panda Express Until This Last Time I Went. There Was A Line Out The Door (that's not a problem for me). I Was In Line Some Of Us Started Chatting. We Noted The Trash Barrel Was Overflowing, OK, The Lights Dimmer Than Usual. In The Left Corner Of The Restaurant, The Whole Area Had Trash On The Floor, I Realise They're Slammed. I Ordered my Panda Bowl; Then Noticed ALL THE DIRTY WOKS ACROSS THE BACKBOARD & SOME ON THE FLOOR. Paid For My Order,Turned To go get eating utensils then it Hit Me. THE WHOLE STORE WAS TRASHED THE OTHER BUCKET ALL OVERFLOWING, ALL THE WINDOW TABLES TRASH ON & UNDER THEM. THEY MAY HAVE BEEN SLAMMED BUSY. TAKE 10 MINUTES DO A QUICK CLEAN. This restaurant is the closest to my house I have been here multiple times but is the worst of all by far every time I stop by regardless of what time it is they’re always out of good the noodles are burned most of the times I have been there around 7:00 pm and they only have a few items of the menu cooked and they make you wait for a long time for everything because they out of everything 2 or 3 hours before the closing time every review on this place is about the same issue lazy employees with bad attitude , small amount of food and shortage of food . I hope the owner reads the reviews one day so he/her clean house kicking the incompetent manager and all the lazy employees that are taking the business to hell.
