Just a really disappointing experience before even setting foot in the store. I happened to have popped into the Legends Home Goods which I never am at. They made an error and I was charged twice. I called and they informed me I could have my problem remedied at any location, after I mentioned I was only in the area once and actually live closer to the Liberty location. Legends super polite. Liberty was not. “Oh well it will throw off my drawer! I absolutely cannot. They’re even wrong for telling you”-Cortney at Liberty hollered. At which I do call on three way and watch this lady Cortney ODell rudely terrorize the whole situation and conversation. The other store was so apologetic about their mistake and kind but Miss Cortney simply was not going to helpful or be a team player for anything. She yelled at the legends store and essentially told us she wasn’t going to help resolve anything. Even after Legends was so sweet on the phone-Nope. Cortney would rather shout at her own teammates and fellow stores and in front of customers, And essentially tell me to screw off. Which- it wasn’t that much money, I would have most likely spent more coming back in store wandering about as people do- but instead Miss Cortney was a grumpy cow that would not move or put any effort in motion to make things right with a customer. If she talks to other stores the way we witnessed- I’d be scared to see how she speaks to her own team. Such a pity. If sales are low at this Liberty/Steward location, it’s definitely bc of management. She’s a moldy apple at this point and clearly hates her job. Reset the store. It would be cheaper than training her lack of desire to be in customer service. Guess we are just out a product we paid for but never received- but wow- Cortney is what made the whole experience sour. Boo...
Read moreI purchased a large mirror on Friday and decided to take advantage of the same day delivery advertised in the store. This service is contracted out to a company called PICKUPNOW. PICKUPNOW has not delivered the mirror and it is now Monday. They have made ever excuse from the stores hours, the stores inventory (I purchased the last mirror of its kind) , the stores location and is not based on delivery speed. Although they offer SAME DAY delivery. I have already paid them $118 to deliver as they bill ahead of time. Trusting that Home goods vetted this company before recommending them. They don’t have live customer service and only respond via email. I am being told now that they will “attempt” to get the mirror delivered to me tonight (it’s currently 6Pm). They went from a window of 10am-2pm to basically anytime between 6pm- 10pm if they can find a driver. The expectation that someone will take off work and or sit around for days on end for a service they’ve already paid for is insane! Do not use the same day delivery service!...
Read moreI've been here about four times in the last couple of months. My wife and I are just kind of drawn to this store. Nothing in particular, just enjoyable to look around. After shopping at one of the big pet store chains, we stopped in at HomeGoods which had a lot of the same pet stuff, but cheaper. We feel that their furniture is about the same price as Hobby Lobby, but a better quality. So why not 5 stars? If you are looking for quantities (like 6 sets of one items as gifts), HomeGoods falls short. They also have some clearance sections around the store, which I'm a big fan of, but a $1 savings on a $4 item is not clearance pricing to me; that's...
