Vintage Stock, there's no denying it, has some interesting stuff. The place is crammed full of stuff. If you're searching for music, this is the place to try and find it; the same goes for movies, too, as well as gaming stuff. Many other oddities, an assortment of posters, collectibles, and quirky things can all the low grade? Well, see, Vintage Stock is a self-professed buyer of vintage goods.etc. My experience with them as a would-be seller left me feeling like I'd received the firehose treatment. They're very, very stingy with what they offer. If you're a regular customer of this establishment, then you probably already know it. If they offer anything at all, you can bet your @ss, you'll be getting low-balled,Ć āBIG way. The things I brought in there were in decent shape, and similar in nature to items they offer for sale. I declined to sell for the offered price. I would rather throw the stuff in the trash than take what that lady told me she'd be willing to pay. It's a great business model, and for Vintage Stock, anyway, it is perfect. When buying, psy next to nothing. There might be some conversation with the store's manager, ut really very little in the way of negotiating. Any haggling you may experience when attempting to sell something to Vintage Stock is most likely going on inside your own head. They don't haggle. Show them something. You might get an offer from them. It's just as likely you'll be informed that they aren't even going to TRY to buy your items. See ya! Yeah. Save yourself the aggravation. Skip on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am a regular customer at three of the Northland Kansas City, Vintage Stock locations. In the Zona Rosa location, I'm welcomed immediately by my first name. Let's talk about the Liberty staff. I entered and closed the door because of the cold weather, my wife followed soon behind where I open and closed the door as well. Instead of a greeting I heard the words "That's so rude". I was trying to be nice and not let all the cold air in. I was doing this to keep everyone comfortable as possible. As I was trying to browse some of the rare Comics that I was looking to buy, the young ladies were huddled around a computer screen commenting on the look of something. After about 10 to 15 minutes of browsing I was asked if I needed any type of help. They didn't offer to open the glass display where I was looking with intention. I was about to drop a hundred bucks on a graded Harley Quinn comic in one of locked display cases. I ultimately found it on Amazon for a cheaper price, and the seller was more than courteous. It's the problem with hiring young people in busy locations, they had every opportunity to make a profitable sell. They chose to go back to the computer and look at whatever they were doing before. I work in sales I would have a clarifying conversation with the people that were on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVintage Stock in Liberty, MO is a great store if you want everything from comic books to vintage vinyl records to CD's to DVD's and BlueRay movies. The plus side is they also have a HUGE selection of video game items and the gear to go along with them. The toys and games are nice but don't expect to get the selection you would get from a game shop. Old toys are there as well and depending on which day you go you can pick up a rare items for a very reasonable cost. The sales that really matter all take place around holidays like Christmas and Easter or The 4th of July. When the store has these you can get a huge discount or buy one get one free items. The grab bag boxes of CD's or cassette tapes are a great buy during this time you can get 100 of them for only $15 and in each you may get the ones you'll never listen to but I found you get a lot of stuff you might want to listen to even artist you have never heard of before. Then there are the video game grab bag boxes they offer and used video game systems of every stripe even the emulators. If you are in the Northland and need your comic book fix or music fix then Vintage Stock is a great place to go for...
