After posting my first review of this place about the terrible service with the evening staff, (you can check that out below.) the management reached out to me and offered to give me a free meal at this location. I've been back a few times in the evening and the staff problem has been taken care of form what I experienced. I give them props to listening to their customers.
It is a good place to get lunch even if you are vegan! It is a nice change from chipolte!
To start off I am not going to review the food as this is a chain restaurant but I am going to speak to my experiences here
I’ve visted this location three times, the first time was okay, service was fine and nothing to complain about, I visted during the lunch hour. The other two times I’ve visted have both been in the evening, once I was with my family and we waited for 10 min before the disrespectful staff finally came to help us and it was defiantly a bother to help us was the feeling from all of them. Last night I placed a online order and it was not ready at the scheduled time and was just scowled at from a young lady at the register while her co worker messlied made the food. I was not impressed, the service is so bad in the evening I do not want to patronize this location as to the terrible service you receive. They desperately need to fix their additudes of the staff.
The food is fine, it’s just the service that is so bad at...
Read moreI have never written a review before, but I have had overall poor experiences at this Naf Naf. Like others have said below, they give you the least amount of food possible and charge nearly $4 for an extra scoop of rice (which is absurd as you are only compelled to ask for more rice because they aren't giving you any in the first place. Also, $4 for extra rice???, it is by far the cheapest ingredient).
You can get a Roti bowl (much higher quality competitor of Naf Naf) for $11-12 and they don't care at all if you want to pile on as much rice and ingredients as you want, let alone doing the bare minimum by just giving a fair serving size. The main draw to Naf Naf used to be that it was really good food with great servings sizes and more affordable prices. At this location, however, it is still really good food but has poor serving sizes and even worse prices.
Lastly, this Naf Naf loves to close 15-20 minutes early. This really sucks when driving a good distance to get food and arriving with 15-20 minutes to spare, only to have the employees shut the lights off when they see you at the locked door. Please do better because I am a big fan of Naf Naf, but this is...
Read moreWent here with my husband tonight since we were craving Mediterranean and I saw some decent reviews online! He got a chicken shawarma pita, and I got a bowl with falafel. I enjoyed the falafel, the toppings were good, although the tahini sauce was a bit bland for my liking. The chicken shawarma on my husbands pita was, in complete honesty, terrible. Dry, bland, oddly tiny pieces. The staff working were also a bit odd, with the one staff member getting my bowl order wrong, and upon correction said that her other job is easier since she doesn’t have to keep track of details 🤷♀️ But by far the worst part of our experience was the baklava. If you like baklava, stay FAR away from this place! We tried the pistachio/walnut and the salted caramel. The salted caramel tasted like a salt lick mixed with artificial caramel flavoring, and the pistachio/walnut was soggy and completely lacking flavor. All in all, the tastiness of the falafel does not make up for everything else experienced here. My hunt for good, quick Mediterranean food in the southern suburbs...
