We made the biggest mistake of the year by hiring this company to replace our almost-ten-year old pool liner. We recommend that whatever you do, you don’t give yourself the headache of dealing with them. You can read the full story below but what you should know: The employees leave pollutants, cigarettes, and supplies that we ended having to clean up AND hurt our child and…. and the manager didn’t respond when we raised the issue to her. The customer service is awful— the company failed to do their job correctly and instead of reimbursing us or demonstrating any compassion, they redirected us to more ways that WE WOULD HAVE TO can spend to repair their defects. The full story: While we were originally optimistic, we saw some red flags pop up when the staff disappeared for hours while replacing our liner. We were willing to overlook it and not make any assumptions, but our patience and optimism waned even further after their work was done. THEY ACTUALLY LEFT EMPTY BOXES OF CIGARETTES and BAGS UPON BAGS OF SAND scattered around and inside of the pool liner for US to clean up, alongside a pair of gloves and potentially even pieces of glass that injured my 12-year-old child when he invited two of his classmates over to play in it. We again, were willing to put their disgusting and unprofessional service aside because we had what seemed to be a functioning liner and wouldn’t need to hire them back anytime soon. We had to throw out that plan though, just two days after my son and his friends went in, because the pool started experiencing a rapid leak. In just the span of a day, the pool’s water level dropped by half. We suspected that the lining wasn’t applied correctly given that there seemed to be bumps, air bubbles, and irregularities in the lining. At this point, we obviously needed to contact the company for a remedy. Some of the conversation? We asked: “We have a leaking pool— in what way can you assist us now?” They responded: “We won’t help you until we have a reason for the leak on paper.” We asked earlier in the conversation: “How can I determine the cause of the leak?” They responded: “You would need to get a leak detector. It’s a laser…” We asked: “Do you have a leak detector?” They responded yes earlier, then gave us a number for an external director and told us they didn’t have one later in the conversation. We said: “We patched a hole today.” They said: “The liner is thick and hard to damage. It would take a lot of pressure.” Then they changed it up: “You said there was a piece of glass in it. It could have come from the deck or blown in with the storm.”
Of course, in her eyes, the glass and all of the other issues couldn’t possibly be from her employees, who left all the other trash in our pool— because admitting that would require accountability and professionalism that this company just doesn’t have.
When we asked what would happen if we got a leak detector and the detector found a hole in the lining, she said they’d request a new liner and install it at half the cost. When we asked what would happen if the leak detector found the cause to be improper application, she couldn’t give an answer— which implies a possibility we’d still have to pay for their shoddy work if that was the case.
Afterwards, we hired someone to fix not one, but three holes in the lining. That person told us it was likely that the glass left in the pool caused the damage,
Save your time, money, and energy. This mediocre company isn’t worth any of them, and no one deserves this...
Read moreWas provided with this company to install my pool. At first, they gave me a date 3 weeks out even though I had the pool however, when my day came around they postponed until the next day. Mind you that would have been August 12 while summer is almost over. The next day came around, beautiful weather and they postponed again until Thursday the next day. The pool store ensured me they would be there the next day however, there was a no show again. Little drizzle in the morning however, at that point after waiting 3.5 weeks for the install I decided to call another company. KIKI Pools came the next day after I called them and did a Wonderful Professional job. -- To top it off, at this point my pool is installed however NJJ texts me that they have to cancel Thursday and made the install Sunday, which was yesterday (a day of rain and storms). If you are looking for a professional and dependable company call KiKI pools. I have never experienced such lack of intention on customer service my...
Read moreOur pool liner, wall and tracks/rails needed to be repaired. After I ordered and received all the parts, I could not find anyone to install for a couple weeks. While waiting for call backs, Nick from NJJ Pool Installation called to say that they were free to do my install the same day, and they were almost half the cost of other installers.
Since they were available same day and much lower in cost, I was a bit worried, but the reviews were all amazing, so I decided to schedule with them. Within two hours the guys were there to work on my above ground pool. They were very experienced, professional and did a terrific job. Not to mention that they also did a good clean up afterwards.
I highly recommend that you contact NJJ Pool Installations if you need a new pool set up or if you need any repairs. I also recommended them to my pool / spa company that I have been going too for 20 years. They too are referring NJJ Pool Installations to their clients.
Thank you Nick for offering this...
