The Museum holds a wealth of information about the history of Litchfield Park and Goodyear. It’s nicely presented and the Board of Directors are powerful and caring stewards of the land.

The museum has an old wheelbarrow outside and a small garden seating area. Inside, there's a gift shop area in one nook. They have about 3 rooms. The main room has some info about the area and an aerial model of the city. There was another room off to the side with bulletin-board style walls and black and white photos and captions tacked on with paper. On the other side, they had some neat historic machines and info about some of the industries and associated equipment. It took me about half an hour to walk through. Docents were welcoming. Accessible...

An extremely interesting collection and history of Paul Litchfield, founder of Litcfield Park, and his home La Loma Ranch, as well as the history of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Headquartered in Akron, Ohio. Mr. Litchfield and his employer, Goodyear Tire and Rubber have had extreme influence over the development and improvements of the West Valley of the Sun, approximately 10 to 20 miles West of downtown Phoenix. A visit here will yield much insight into what happened in the West Valley, pre-World War I and after. Great...
