Little Elm Park Boat Ramp — Attraction in Little Elm

Little Elm Park has a pretty nice lake access area with a 3 slot boat ramp and courtesy dock. There's a boat wash station, bathrooms, and a 24 hour ice machine. The parking lot is well-lit but the boat ramp itself and the area around the dock could definitely use more, and brighter lighting. Besides the lights, it would be nice if there were more buoy markers for no wake zones, and signage at the bridge to keep people who don't know any better from speeding under it...

It's definitely a great place to launch on Lewisville, but there's a pretty significant risk of navigating around reckless boaters (and a TON of crazy jet skiers) - for whatever reason, they love getting ridiculous in that area - probably because there's usually no lake patrol around...hopefully they'll address that...

We wanted to explore about this place. Today we spent a while here. We could walk and also our pet refresh itself. We see this place very nice to come with friend and family. In the other side there's a beach, so you can bring all your beach toys and have fun with your family. There are volleyball fields and sand to loe down and take a little bit of sun. Best place to launch on Lewisville Lake. 3 ramps, nice docks, a place to rinse your boat when done, bathrooms and a place to buy ice for the day. It is pretty popular so may want to get here early, and best to avoid on the 4th period. Little Elm does a fireworks display and if you get out early and try to leave later in the day you may be stuck waiting for extended period of time to get out! TONS of boats and people come to this exact area to watch the show and its a nightmare...
