We wanted to get our daughter something special for her 30th birthday. She loves unusual gemstones and we found a beautiful watermelon tourmaline at a gem and mineral show that we recently attended. Using my daughter’s vision and Rick’s CAD skills, her vision became a reality with a gorgeous custom setting. Donna and Rick are absolutely “gems” to work with! Rick sent us a neat video of the CAD generated design and kept us informed every step of the way. They were very respectful of our budget and finished the setting much earlier than expected. My daughter also had a morganite ring that she was never pleased with. The quality of the stone and the setting was a disappointment. For my 30th birthday, my parents bought me a bicolor tourmaline gemstone at a local gem and mineral exposition. I wanted to get the stone set in a simple white-gold band with a filigree design. Rick was a HUGE help. When I showed him the design I wanted, he modeled it in CAD and sent me updates throughout. The ring was done in less than a week and I am so, so happy with the result. It’s absolutely stunning! I also brought in a morganite ring that I purchased several years ago. I was never pleased with the setting or the quality of the stone. Donna purchased the ring from me and I was able to put the money towards one of the morganite rings they had at the store. The stone she had was of much richer quality and the ring was elegant rose-gold.
