Dangerous advice from staff! Our experience here was incredibly disappointing and ultimately cost us our Christmas tree. Back in December, we went in looking for Christmas tree frost. An employee (older man), walked over to some tree frost spray, picked up 2 cans and told us both the effects of each. He sprayed both on a display tree and proceeded to check us out when we were ready. Upon arriving home, we sprayed it on our Christmas tree and there was a strong chemical smell. I put the tree outside immediately. I look at the can and it was a frost spray for windows... I called and store about the mistake and per the owner, when we spoke to an employee to relay the message it was our fault for not noticing as it's our responsibility to check items and we should never trust anyone, despite their employee's direct instructions to use on our tree. I get it, we should noticed as well but the employee had several opportunities to notice their mistake. By the way that same can they sold us at $13 is $5 at Walmart. After being treated like it was our fault seems like the owner doesn't care much about people and failed to recognize how dangerous the employee's advice was. Don't bring your family here. We were offered a discount for a tree... as if we're...
Read moreThis family owned business is amazing! Everyone in the store is helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. We love coming here to browse all of the fun Christmas items and buy quality items that last years and years. We bought a tree and wreath tonight that I can’t wait to hang and light it up to spread Christmas cheer during this weird time. To the lady Renee Elizabeth that wrote a bad review...you shouldn’t be allowed to even comment about masks. Have you been under a rock, but we are in a pandemic! This family business is trying to stay in business and if you were not wearing a mask shame on you. You put their business in jeopardy and all of their customers. Wear the damn mask and if you don’t want to shop in the store, their online store is open. The store had great limits on the number of people allowed in and everyone was cheerful and happily shopping. Thank you St. Nicks for lighting up the end of the...
Read moreWe often drive past this store, but had never gone in. This last December we finally decided to check it out and ended up buying several ornaments and outdoor lights. We were advised to buy one starter box set, and then three boxes of connection lights. They looked beautiful! For about three days. Then they died. When we took them down we tested each strand and they all worked perfectly, so we determined it was the transformer box (the box that let you pick the light setting) that was broken. I reached out via email and expected an email back maybe in a day or two telling me to buy a new one. Instead I got an email in a few hours and they literally overnighted me the piece I needed.
Visiting this store was a lark, and I didn't think I'd go back. Now I'm going to make sure to give them all the business I can. Any thing Christmas related, this will be...
