Don’t go here!!!!
I had one of the most disappointing nail salon experiences here. I arrived right when they opened, no wait, and planned to get marble nails for a special event. I even showed them a clear photo of what I wanted. They said yes, they could do it.
I also paid $63 for the Arabian Dead Sea pedicure, which was supposed to be a premium service, and yet it was rushed and finished in barely 10 minutes. Totally not worth the price.
Then the nail process turned into a nightmare. The first tech tried three times, each time wiping the design off because it came out wrong. Instead of the green marble look I requested, it kept turning into almost all white. I repeatedly explained that the main color should be green, not white, but they did not seem to understand. By the fourth try, two other ladies came over, gave him advice, but still could not get it right.
They finally switched me to someone else. That person painted half of my nails solid black (this caused them to have to drill off the color later), which was nowhere near what I asked for. I even told her to only try it on one nail before doing all of them, but she went ahead anyway. At that point, I said I did not want to try anymore and to just paint a solid color, but they kept insisting, “It’s okay, we try.” I absolutely hate when I am the one paying for a service and they still do not listen to what I want.
Then yet another tech took over. While they got closer with the green and white, they added straight black lines that ruined the design completely.
At that point, I was fed up. I felt like they were experimenting on me instead of being honest upfront. If they had simply told me at the beginning, “We don’t know how to do marble nails,” I would have respected that and I would’ve chose another design or gone elsewhere. Instead, they wasted three hours of my time, left me with nails I hated, and charged me $180 plus I still tipped 20%. To make things worse, they tried to tell me they “wouldn’t charge for length.” What length? I had the shortest Gel-X nails. It felt like they were trying to make me believe I got some kind of discount for a service I never even had, which was insulting on top of everything else.
To top it off, the finish was not even clean. There was polish left around my nails, smudges, and spots not wiped off. For the amount I paid, this is completely unacceptable.
I left extremely upset, especially since I had an event and wanted my nails to look a certain way. Instead, I got rushed service, inexperienced techs, and no accountability, just “sorry” without any real solution.
I will not be returning to this location, or likely to any other branch of Deluxe...
Read moreSo, let me start off by saying this establishment is very beautiful and clean and everyone seemed very friendly. However, I brought my 2 daughters with me so they could get their first mani/pedis, but their experience was not wonderful. All they did was slap some polish on. Now, maybe this would be fine if you were only charging me $5, but I paid FULL price for your children's mani/pedi and I feel my girls should have got their feet soaked, filed, towel wrap, something and felt a lot more pampered than they did. It was very disappointing. Not to mention their experience was over in literally 5 minutes and then they had to sit their with me while I had my services done. Boring! Now, onto my services. I upgraded my mani to the volcanic and it was very nice, my feet were left SO soft, but I had to tell the guy 4 times I only wanted regular polish and I don't like when people are pushy like this. Moving on, after my mani I got a full set. The same man prepped my nails and then sent me to someone else for my set, but prior to this he asked me again about polish and I told him I want the same as my toes, REGULAR polish. Well, my hands went into the lights. Now I'm no frequent flyer by any means to the nail salon, so I thought maybe it still helped the polish dry even if it wasn't gel. Well, JOKES ON ME. They charged me more for gel polish! Overall I felt ripped off and like it was very untrustworthy. I tried telling my original guy at check out, but he could barely understand me. Just really upset for my girls first experience and mine. $160 for these services is...
Read moreMy first time here yesterday. It is nice & they got a bar so I just knew I was going to get a great pedicure. But guess what The person they give me rush my spa pedicure, he was so rough on my toe I was getting mad. I kept telling him why are you so rough, he just look at me smiling and I was not smiling. He didn’t not polish my toe nail correctly. I saw another man show him my toe nail and he fix my toe polish. I was very disappointing that a fine establishment will have people in there they cannot properly do service correctly. This is at every nail shop they bring out worker that can’t do the job correctly. You have to make an appointment if you walk in you are getting in training and that’s mess up. Oh snap! the man who fix my nail I went to tell him what what I’m tell here. He said something that caught my ear. He said we not racist. I didn’t say nothing about being racist. I just know every nail salon is giving walk-in students in training. I pay my hard working money for a hard working nails shop who take there job seriously and want happy guest. All these nails shop do the same things is give walk-in students/ training mean can’t do service correctly. If you walk in a fine dining restaurant. They hired experience worker who can get the job done professionally. I had a Very expensive pedicure that was very disappointed, painful and rushed. When walk-in Ask for the best worker or make an appointment with one of the best to get...
