Five Guys — Restaurant in Livonia

Not a bad experience but needs a little improvement.

My order was taken promptly and professionally. I ordered a cheeseburger, little fries, and a regular drink. They ask for a tip on the payment screen, which is odd, due to not serving to the table. They simply shout your number and we the customer pick it up.

The lobby was clean and free of any signs of trash or debris. The drink station and condiment area were stocked and clean. This location has the Coca Cola Freestyle machines as other Five Guys locations have.

The drink quality was good and tasted great!

My order was ready in approximately 5 minutes.

The food was hot and fresh. The fries were hot, plentiful, and tasty! Salted just right. The cheeseburger was a little disappointing, because you could tell the grill cook didn't scrape the grill in-between orders. You could taste the charred pieces from the grill. The sandwich was slightly under cooked, as it was a little pinker than I would have liked.

I still would recommend this location to anyone who is in the mood for a descent...

RUDE EMPLOYEE HUMILIATES CUSTOMERS - I watched as a rude, heavy set male employee at this location made fun of a heavy set, disabled customer as he approached the counter to place his order. Yelling so loud that it echoed throughout the restaurant, and talking about how BIG this customer was and how he had big money. ..?.. I thought it was a joke, but you could see the hurt in the customer's eyes. This employee was SO obnoxious and it was SO obvious that the employee himself noticed it and offered the customer a free drink for his degrading comments. But damage was done. Manager/Corporate took complaint but did nothing. Customers at Five Guys are not considered important..only putting out the burgers and taking your money. It's up to you if you think you would enjoy eating in this type of environment. Maybe he'll comment on you when...

Great food and great service. My fiancé and I are there at least once a week. A few days ago we had went there for lunch and, of course, we were welcomed right away and and our order was taken. As I was eating my lunch I was watching the staff work and one gentlemen stood out. HIs name was Orlando. His work ethics is impeccable. I watched him take a receipt from a customer to throw away for him and he had taken his gloves off and put new ones on. That made my evening because it reassured me that the food we eat there is handled with care. So I kept watching him work and he made sure that everyone was treated the same as well as left with a smile on their face. Thank you so much for once again another great experience.
