Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Livonia

I took a period of time off from Noodles and Company over a bout of food poisoning I came down with from a different location (not this one). I recently moved to the area, and my girlfriend convinced me to give it another go.

I must say, after giving it another go, I wish I would have much sooner. The food is always good, and I have experienced none of the food quality issues that I had before at different locations. This place as a whole has ton of food options, and pretty much everything has the ability to be customized to your specific liking. The staff is friendly, helpful, and seemingly knowledgeable about their products.

My only real complaint is that for whatever reason customers at this location just refuse to pick up after themselves. Every single time I have been in here, there are dirty dishes on several tables (most likely because the employees have no idea they're there). It's absolutely not difficult to put your dishes in the area that the establishment provides for you. Other than that the place is spacious and clean.

When all is said and done, my food has always been delicious, and my order has always been correct. Not looking for much...

When you order you don't expect to receive the largest portion you actually should be allowed to choose your size rather than the cashier randomly over charging you. I won't go back to this place ever because I was treated like I was a problem rather than a customer by the cashier who was the first person to hear me say hi I've never been here before can you tell me about your food. If you don't want customers to come in why don't you just shut down because being mean and rude to them will certainly make them do exactly what I'm doing and leave a review that is actually going to tell the truth about what's going on in your place. I don't like to leave negative reviews so I am giving you an extra star because the manager took the time to find out what was going on before he put the cashier back in the kitchen where she belongs. No one should be disrespected just for ordering food. Why does this place not cover their hair and you find food with people talking over at the counter before they deliver it? I don't think they understand sanitation here at all because this place needs a visit from the health inspector and...

Bathroom smelled strongly of eau de unwashed ass. Disinfected toilet seat, which was generously sprinkled with urine, and sprayed deodorizer in restroom myself. Restroom was otherwise fairly clean. Ordered food with large iced tea. Was advised that they needed to make iced tea, so i went straight to the table. They brought food, and I asked if iced tea was made, at which point they began making iced tea. Began to eat and then went to get tea. After sitting back down, and eating most of my food, I reached up to scratch an itch near my nose, with the hand i had used to hold my bowl, and realized my hand smelled like the bathroom had before I deodorized it (even though I had washed my hands before ordering my food. Turned out that the outside of the bowl that my food was in smelled like the bathroom as well. Used a disinfectant wipe to resanitize my hands and the outside of the bowls. Can only surmise that staff does not wash hands after using restroom or after scratching their backside. Disgusted. Will not be back to this location. Store was not particularly...
