Asbury Park Dog Beach — Attraction in Loch Arbour

horrible place, horrible management. apperently this "dog beach" is not a dog beach. when i asked for a manager to help sort this out, the lady was extremely aggressive even though i was asking for clarification. furthermore, when we asked for her manager to talk to us to help the situation out, the man was extremely abrasive. his name was john bongiovanni and he could not care less about his job. instead of calming the situation down like an adequate manager would do, he raised tensions and pretty much told everyone there that we were stupid. he was extremely aggressive and honestly should not have his job. i personally have an issue with anyone who cannot speak to others calmly and respectfully. this man is unable to do so. if you work with the public, how are you not able to talk to the public respectfully? he said he had better things to do rather than speak to concerned citizens. talk about an inadequate manager. anyways, dont bother going to this dog beach as its really not a dog beach.

Dakota gets so excited the moment we pull into the parking lot. Seeing her sprint across the sand, ears flapping in the wind, and leap into the waves is the absolute highlight of my week. Finally brought the dogs out to the beach today (4.24.22). Its a little chilly but this seems to be a good temperature for our frenchies who cannot stand hot weathers (well that goes for all frenchies i suppose).

The parking lot was very convenient - lots of space, close to the entrance, and restroom and was a good walking distance to the rest of the boardwalk. The beach itself is very clean and well maintained. Most of the dog owners are pretty responsible and pick up after their pets. Most of the dogs are very well behaved as well. My pup on the other hand is a naughty boi lol barks so much. Anyhoo..this is a great place to let the dogs enjoy themselves and play with the others as long as they are well-behaved and socialized.

Glad we were able to stop by today. Asbury park is beautiful! Nice place for both hoomans and doggos!

FYI: Dogs are not permitted on the Boardwalk from May 16 through...
