Midas — Attraction in Lombard

I had a terrible experience with the owner, Jay Rajput, at this location. After politely explaining that I would like to take my car to another location to this about it, he proceeded to confront me asking why I wouldn’t purchase new break pads here. He was quoting me $170 for new break pads and installation. I could tell her was clearly upset, but decided to take my business elsewhere. I took it to another Midas located in Addison and the quoted me for $100.

The worst part of the experience was he did not tighten the lug nuts on my rear passenger tire. I had driven on the expressway and noticed something was wrong. I was able to unscrew them with my own hands. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after researching the owner and seeing how he handled his business practices in the insurance industry I can’t help but think it was done on purpose.

I would not recommend coming back here or that this person should own...

Went in for an oil change which went fine, the service was quick. My complaint is that the lift used on my car damaged the moulding underneath both doors causing the fenders to dislodge from the bolts in the wheel wells. Whenever I open either door, the door pinches the fender between the wheel and the door and pushes it in until it springs back. When I confronted the employees about the issue the following weekend they just denied it saying it was impossible but they believe me (?). I noticed the problem immediately after the service was over but was unable to confront them at the time because I had to visit my grandfather in the hospital and was short on time. This was the first and last time I will ever go to a Midas. I contacted the corporate office and I am waiting for a response. If the issue gets resolved I will update this review and continue my business with Midas but until then,...

I went to Midas (Lombard) on Saturday morning to fix my tire. its my brand new SUV i.e. only 5000 miles on SUV. The guy name Jay recommended to replace the tire because it was worn out from side. I told him (Jay on his shirt) and his repair guy i did not drive the suv after its flat. he persisted me to replace tire and told me that he will not able to take the nail out because tire needs to be replaced. He also provided me the price of tire which was around 40 dollar high. I went to Ford dealership and they check and verify the tire. they fix the tire and mentioned there is not need to replace the tire. Ford dealer ship also recommended not to park very close to curb because there is small worn out on sides of tire because parking very close to curb. These guys trying to rob me with new tire.
