Very frustrating experience. 12/28/20, 12:25pm- about 12:50pm
Started off needing a gift card for a belated holiday gift, my wife asked me to pick us up some sandwiches as well, while I was there. I got into the drive-through line and waited, maybe 15 minutes. At the order window I was told very coldly that I would have to come inside for the gift card, despite the fact that there is a big sign suggesting gift cards under the drive-through menu. The message delivery was very cold, borderline rude, and I think that was the person in charge at the time, the name on the receipt was Neymar. I found the whole thing very strange especially during COVID-19 times. Why would you require more people to be in your dining room than necessary?
At this point I almost skipped the sandwiches but I didn't. I paid for them and then parked and headed inside. I wouldn't have posted this review if it weren't for Sinforosa, she needs some serious customer service training in my opinion, and I did manage a restaurant for about 10 years. She was less than enthused to be there clearly and was not moving with any sense of urgency. The woman ahead of me in line was treated to the same flat, emotionless service, I can only assume everyone she served was. When it was my turn she began the process and then gestured to the card machine and said "ok". I entered my card and she turned around. I misread the machine, I thought it said approved, remove card, so I did. She was working on another order for the drive through and after waiting for maybe 30 seconds I asked if I could have the card. Her response was what motivated me to write this, "No, it didn't do it yet, why'd you take it out!?" It was a very aggressive and scolding tone. I repeated the process and everything worked.
While she was getting the receipt I said, "I'm sorry, I'm frustrated because I didn't know I couldn't get this in the drive-through, I've waited in line twice."
She then snapped at me, "No, you were only charged once!"
I was, but that was never the point. All I wanted was a gift card.
On a side note, the sandwiches were pretty good, I'd recommend them but not...
Read moreI ordered a 10 piece box of mixed chicken and fries. I asked to substitute the wings for thighs but they didn't have any. So they offered me legs instead. Late Sunday Night passing thru Lombart coming from Chicago to Aurora 21:48. The only thing that was fresh was the fries and two pieces of the chicken! The rest were OLD AND BEEN SITTING TOO LONG AND HARD. I have no idea what kind of legs those were in my box. The Breast were super hard and only two of the thighs were decent out of the entire bunch!!!! The guy actually making my order looked like he had already started my order before I ordered?
I spent $25 plus on this order and The Manager for Tues, 22nd July 2025 expected me to settle? After working that Monday morning and then going back for overnight as I explained my issue to the Manager. His only response is I should have called and brought the food back that night? Guy U close at 11pm. No way I could have made it back from Aurora in time. Def wasn't going to stay open to drop me a fresh batch. Plus I had to get up early for work. Nonetheless He didn't make any effort to correct my issue. That was my 4th stop at that location over the years. I Made my Corporate Report and will Not Return to...
Read moreMy co-worker and I went there. There was a 499 spicy chicken sandwich advertise on the front window but they would not sell it to my coworker. They charged him $7 for the same sandwich. When he inquired they gave him a run-around and could not explain clearly why they weren't selling that particular sandwich for $4.99 as it was advertised. I ordered my Tuesday special and upgrade at the chicken breast cuz I wanted more meat it turns out these things are really tiny and did not taste good. One of the first pieces I ate was disgusting and the second one tasted like it was triple-cooked I brought that one back to them and said can I please have a fresh one that has more meat on it. There was no apology or no compassion at all. It was disheartening because I had given them a five-star review about 4 months ago. With this experience we had at the Popeyes I took it back and edited my review accordingly. You need to get your stuff together when you're going to be working with the public you should have a...
