Long Beach Cruise Center — Attraction in Long Beach

This terminal is very well organized. We arrived for our cruise a couple hours prior to departure and the lines to check-in and pass through security were all very short. We had great service from the people at the counters checking us in to the people working security. There is a spot to take pictures before boarding the ship and those staff people were a little less friendly, but for the most part, everyone working here sent us off with smiles. (And one gentlemen was even singing farewells to the passengers in a beautiful, deep voice!)

Upon our return, the disembarking process was a little less organized on the Carnival side, but when we reached the cruise center terminal we were once again happy to find friendly staff and security. Even going through customs was more pleasant than I expected. I would love to cruise out of this...

Getting in and out of LBCC can be a bit of a hassle with backed up traffic and long waiting times...the congestion even carry all the way into the Seaport for the check in process of boarding your Cruise ship.

Once inside the terminal it's less stressful, but the line was crazy long before you finally reached the ship, having the chance to witnessed the Iconic Queen Mary docked though was a pleasure.

When I joined my cruise ship from here, the calling of cabin numbers was very unusual for me...as my previous CCL cruises was nothing like.

The terminal was clean and air conditioned with seating and free wifi to pass the wait times.

Since I've taken this cruise, I vowed never again..but as my love for cruising always get the best of me, I'm afraid that's not...

I was there for a cruise, i will recommend to get dropped off and give yourself or your ride an extra 20-25mins due to it might congested with other cars going in at the same time, when I got dropped off, there was only one entrance to go in to get dropped off and if you have your own car it's the same entrance, so that's why I say give yourself some extra time and there might be people coming back from a cruise and getting picked up. If it's congested with cars, get dropped off a at the corner of the parking structure and just walk 2-5mins, hopefully your luggage has wheels to make it easy...
