Queensview Steakhouse โ A Birthday Celebration to Remember
We recently visited Queensview Steakhouse for the first time to celebrate our motherโs birthday, and the experience was truly special. From the moment we arrived, everything felt intentional and welcoming. Our reservation was ready, the table was beautifully set, and a thoughtful birthday card signed by the staff awaited our mother โ a lovely personal touch.
โจ Ambiance & Service The atmosphere was relaxed yet refined, with live music adding a warm, celebratory vibe. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout, and the manager even stopped by to personally wish our mother a happy birthday โ a gesture that didnโt go unnoticed. While our server was pleasant, we wouldโve appreciated just a bit more attentiveness during the meal.
๐ฅฉ Food Highlights We ordered the daily special: a Tomahawk Steak, cooked medium well. It was tender, well-seared, and packed with flavor โ definitely the star of the meal. The baked potato was satisfying, though it couldโve used a touch more seasoning and warmth. The broccolini was fresh and nicely prepared.
Unfortunately, the lobster mac and cheese missed the mark โ dry, lacking a creamy roux, and the noodles felt too dense for the dish. The herb chicken was tasty and wouldโve been elevated with a chimichurri sauce. Drinks were well-crafted and complemented the meal nicely.
๐ Scenic Views The waterfront location added a magical touch to the evening. As night fell, the city lights shimmered across the harbor, and we even caught a glimpse of the Queen Mary โ a perfect backdrop for a celebration.
๐ Final Thoughts Despite a few minor hiccups, our dinner at Queensview Steakhouse was a wonderful experience. The ambiance, hospitality, and thoughtful gestures made our motherโs birthday truly memorable. We look forward...
ย ย ย Read moreWhat an awesome Steakhouse with great views and service. Found this place on a last minute search for a good steakhouse in Long Beach and this place did not disappoint. We were able to do reservations through Google Maps which uses Open Table app. By the way, that app is so helpful and a lot of restaurants use it. When we arrived we were unsure where the place was. There is no business signs so don't be alarmed and think you're not in the right spot. Below Queensview Steakhouse is Parkers Lighthouse. You check in with host down there and they will contact upstairs to make sure the table is ready for you. We had reservations for 6pm and arrived at 5:35pm and was immediately seated. You take either stares or an elevator to go to the top floor. We sat closest to the windows looking toward the Queen Mary. The views were phenomenal and we we also were able to catch the sunset. Amazing! They also had a live Jazz band playing! Couldn't of asked for anything else. Food was excellent! We had steak and lobster tails with a few side dishes, cocktails, and even a Sorbet dessert. YUM! Everything was cooked to perfection and the taste was second to none. The staff was friendly and our server, Alex, was great! Highly recommend him if you're able to request him. This is a must try place, 5 stars for us. Thanks Queensview Steakhouse, you won 2...
ย ย ย Read moreQueensview Steakhouse is a premier restaurant that offers excellent food, service and quality. We recently went to celebrate a special occasion and from beginning to end, the experience was top notch. Our waitress Laura was fantastic, as are all of the staff. They are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
Our party chose several appetizers, including the shrimp cocktail, bacon wrapped dates (which were absolutely delicious) and the carpaccio, all were a wonderful way to start the meal. I highly recommend the Prime Bone-in Ribeye accompanied by the lobster tail, and the Filet Mignon Oscar style, but not matter what you choose, it will be exceptional. Everyone enjoyed their meals immensely. The crรจme brรปlรฉe for dessert was the perfect finisher.
The ambiance of the restaurant is perfect for a romantic evening for 2 or for a party celebrating an event as we did. Thereโs a live piano player as well that really adds that touch of class. It can be a little on the loud side though. Thatโs my only complaint. The view of the Queen Mary is beautiful as well, especially at night.
Highly recommend using the valet parking, especially on the weekend. You could very well spend 20 mins or more trying to find parking.
Overall a fantastic experience and weโre looking forward to going...
