The Aurora Theater — Attraction in Long Beach

So happy to have found the Aurora Theater. Wanted to find a venue for a small covid safe birthday celebration, where we could have a movie night for our family.

With our Disney+ account, the owner Charles was able to set up for us a completely private screening of the new Raya and the Last Dragon film. The independent play house seats 40-50, but was the perfect size for the 10 of us to spread out and be socially distanced, yet feel together. The inside of the theater is beautiful, with vintage seating from the 1940s. The price was affordable, as they are running a special rental price of $20/person for 3 hours.

Charles was great to work with. He put so much work into his theater, and his passion for it shows. He is flexible and open to ideas. If you are looking for a safe and unique place to have a movie or game night with your group, I would highly recommend...

Where should I start...My experience at the beautiful Aurora Theater was exceptional, from beginning to end. Charles was full of positive energy and kindness at every step of the way, from the initial rental inquiry, through the setup, doors opening, show time and tear down. I booked the theater several months in advance, and communicating with Charles was very clear, quick, and efficient. Organization was top notch. The acoustics in the room are fantastic, and the lighting setup / capabilities are beautiful and excellent. On stage is a beautiful piano as well. Reflecting on my Valentine's Day show here this year, I could not have asked for anything more. I'd love to do a show here again. Charles is the perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness.

Had an amazing night last night at the Aurora Theater in Long Beach. I hosted a surprise bachelorette party for my sister and it was the perfect location.Charles was so accommodating and very helpful. The unique 1940’s style was a hit and my sister, family, and friends absolutely loved it. Price was well worth it and I would highly recommend this location to friends for any type of get together that includes small performances. We had Drag queens perform and it was amazing. Love the vibes, lights, music, and overall atmosphere of the theatre. Thanks Charles. We will definitely be booking...
